nasty looking Russian hostess spoils okay meal

Food almost good with large portions.Bathroom filthy,

nasty towards americans,hostess looked like warmed over death from nazi times as if to say,'Ve vill brrreak you"...!!!LOL...Staff has a rep as mail order bride rejects.Maybe that's the problem?

Worst diner in Brooklyn

Terrible service, mediocre to bad food - raw meat, no concern whatsoever to presentation, content or taste of food, dirty bathrooms, teenybopper wait staff that huddles and cuddles while you wait an hour for a glass of water, not one person says thank you, and if your food is super bad - nobody says sorry - or is willing to credit you. I live nearby and would love to have a good diner there - but I'm never returning.

I'm with laura84 on this. I had the same problem happen to me tonight, just that I missed my car being towed and it happened. Lowlife. My boyfriend wanted to beat the little informant p.o.s. that works in the lot. He came very very close.

Go figure that they're Russians. It's not a big surprise in the least bit.

Disgusting

Dirty bathrooms, raw burgers, cold fries. molded bread on the wraps. Birthday cakes are too sweet tasting. The beers taste like tar. I hear they wanna tare down this palce and make it into condiminiums. Many of the employees aren't American and treat americans like shittttt. Outdoor seating takes forever to serve you, like they waitor/waitresses almost forget you are there. Very noisy, clanking plates. I heard the health inspector visited this place a number of times through out the years. I'm not comming back here.

Russian Triads involved scamming with X-treme Body & Fender Inc and P&J Management. BEWARE. The restaurant is scamming everyone who steps foot on the premises. Disgrace

Owner has nothing but contempt for his customers. Avoid!!!

Avoid at all costs unless you like below-average food complimented by gruff service. The highlight of this place however is the ignorant owner who has nothing but contempt for his customers. If you make any complaint about the food you orderd you will simply be told not to order that meal again. Very helpful!!!

The service was terrible. We had greek salads w/no dressing. When we asked for some, the waitperson looked put out and what she brought back tasted like duck sauce. We only saw her 3 times.

I completely disagree with the earlier one star review. I found El Greco a charming place. This summer, I'd spent particular time there and found their outdoor tables comfortable and romantic. And when it got chilly and we headed inside, I found it cozy and adorable. The neon lighting cast a gorgeous glow across the beautiful restaurant and illuminated the handsome features inside. The food here is also impressive, and their desserts are to die for. I'd definitely come here :]]

• Cons: The bathrooms could be a little cleaner.

For being a diner, this place has some great food. I love coming here in the summer because they ave cozy outdoor seating with umbrellas. Defintiely a great place to grab a late night or early breakfast

The food is not bad for a diner. But deserts are the Best! You should stop by and get one to go if you don`t want to have a big meal inside. Just ask somebody which one is the freshest because they make them couple of times a week. They also have a good breakfast.

Worning! Owners are real asholes, don`t talk to them!
