This Brooklyn mainstay features amusements, fishing and more.. Overview
Newly relocated, Sideshows by the Seashore and the Coney Island museum have rededicated their facilities to American pop culture and a panoply of arts in the tradition of the circus, vaudeville and Coney Island itself.

Multiple Attractions

It's a carnival freakhouse in the mythical Coney Island tradition, great for nostalgic memories of the good old days. Occasionally, live music performances take place. There's also the Coney Island Aquarium, the Cyclone Rollercoaster and the Astroland Amusement Park. Also here: A fishing pier, a skating rink and the Surf Avenue flea market.

Cyclone!!!!!. Going to the Cyclone is a necessity. Great roller coaster with old school style wooden construction and minimal engineering. So much fun.

Not Too Bad. Though nothing compares to Six Flags or Hershey Park. This small amusement park within the city limits is great for the kids. Adults may get bored quickly though in mid-summer there are small forms of attractions on the boardwalk (Radio Stations, Ice Cream Promos, etc.) The NY Aquarium is just next door to Coney so if you want to make a full day you can go to the Aquarium in the day and enjoy the rides in the evening. Near public transportation.
