I would recommend this place to everybody who picks great food over good food. Dieters watch out!! Portions are huge. I've been eating there a lot and never had any bad experience.

Sahara offers good turkish food that is consistent. Great place to order in from when you are in the mood to eat in fromt of the tv. Highly recommend the baklava and the shepard salad.

Great Gyros and Loved the Outdoor Garden Ambience

If You enjoy a great ambience when dining out, and you like middle eastern/turkish cuisene...this is the place to visit. Sahara is one of my favorite late night spots to eat at and it has the very best gyros in brooklyn. the salmon kebabs are great as well. they have a garden style outdoor seating area that offers a very unique feel.

NOT GOOD ... Stay AWAY

When the Turkish community first became popular in Brooklyn, this was a very good place to dine.

Its now one of the most horrific places to eat. The food quality has gone way down-hill. We ordered the mixed grill. The lamb chops were burned and dried out The shepherd salad wasnt even good.

. This establishment is now Very Bad and Very DIRTY. There were some insects crawling around the table. There was even a very large rodent in the dining room under our table...we were frightened

We alerted the manager on duty and they didnt even apologize. I would never go back to this place again. It progressively got worse . Now its beyond bad and very FILTHY Stay away

Not what it used to be

Insanely expensive. We spent over $70 for two people. Prices are outrageous, service is slow. You pay for lamb, yet they bring you beef. To be honest Sahara is not what it used to be. I would not recommend it.

Priced to much !!

Don't get me wrong the chicken kebab is good but not for 20.00 bucks!!! Oh you get rice with it...big deal!! If you like turkish food try another place and save money there's nothing there to justified the price nothing not even the service...!!

WAY OVERPRIZED

$22.50 FOR LAMB CHOPS, $7.95 FOR CALF LIVER ONLY A FEW PEACES

THIS RESTAURANT DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME ZEST LIKE BEFORE

I ORDER LAMB AND GOT BEEF, WHEN I ASKED WHY I GOT BEEF, THE WAITRESS SAID THAT 'S THE WAYS IT IS. WE USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE, BUT LIKE EVERY OTHER RESTAURANT SAHARA IS WAY OVERPRIZED AND FOOD IS NOT THE SAME QUALITY.
