Good place. I like Chadwick's but I would caution that this is a place where the locals dress up. You won't be kicked out for wearing jeans or a T-Shirt, but be advised that you will feel out of place if you show up that way.

Great Menu!! best of the ridge!!. Really good menu, would not expect to find such a menu in bay ridge. The decor is pretty tacky and old but the food makes up for the ambiance. This is the best restaurant in Bay Ridge by far!!!!

I just love it !. Everytime I go there I have an amazing time. The food is really good, I mean I'm picky so if I say that I love it I mean it. The atmosphere is very nice, great place to bring a date or a big group of friends, they always play good music and the staff is usually friendly. I totally recommend it !!

Chadwick's is the best restaurant in Bay Ridge, bar none.. I know it's been said on here before, but I'd love to chime in with the chorus- Chadwick's is an eating experience that has no parallel in Brooklyn. Anytime I've ever eaten here (and I do often-maybe once a week at least) the service and the food have been outstanding. Any waitstaff that have helped us are extremely attentive and polite- let's face it, you want Outback, then go eat at that zoo. Chadwick's is dining at the next level. Chad's food is superb- we haven't had a bum meal yet. Always have a good listen to the specials; more often than not, they are extremely good (roasted pepper ravioli anyone?). The shrimp cocktail is divine. There's always a basket of hot bread (I emphasize hot because I haven't really gotten hot bread anywhere else). Excellent selections from the bar too. I've never really had to wait (I think the longest was 15 min, but generally I can walk right in without a reservation). I love the main dining room; it's rustic and cozy. In the winter they put the fireplace on too. The desserts are fantastic too- try the creme brulee. All told, I can't recommend Chadwick's enough, whether you are having a special occasion there or just a night out to eat!

Best NY steak in Bay Ridge!!!. Since i moved to Bay Ridge about 6 months ago, i have been to this local restaurant 3 times already! Nothing i could really complaint! Their NY steak is the best i have had in the Bay Ridge area, & i personally believe that they do a way better job than their rival "STEAK HOUSE" in the neighborhood. I always enjoy the size comes with the meal too. Reasonable price too! (for only like $26-27, i think it is very good value) Too bad i am on my diet lately, otherwise, i would definitely visit them at least once a week.

Wonderful Spot in Brooklyn. Loved this place ! I am new to Brooklyn (lived in Manhattan for 15 years) and went with a friend who loves this place. I cannot tell you how pleased I was. I have heard that the Chef has since left, so I hope it continues to be a first rate restaurant. I had a seared scallop app that was wonderful, my friend had fried calamari (yes, fried calamari) that was among the best I have ever tasted, perfectly cooked and seasoned.

He then had the pasta with duck ragu which was quite lovely and I had a wonderful juicy veal chop with polenta and broccoli rabe. No room for dessert on this visit. Service was friendly and relaxed (In a good way)

Best of Bay Ridge. We celebrated my dad's 72nd Bday here. My family has lived in Bay Ridge for 26 years. We've frequently passed by Chadwick's and I'm happy I suggested to try out this neighborhood establishment. The award winning Japanese crab cakes were delicious, but what really tingled my tastebuds was the scallop appetizer. Perfectly seasoned and cooked -- the best scallops I've ever had, and I've had my share. The entrees were good too -- huge portions! Service was excellent. I was worried that we'd be snuffed because the restaurant was so elegant, but we were all in jeans. But the waiter was attentive and friendly. When he wasn't sure if a wine would be too dry for my liking, he asked the bartender and quickly returned with an answer. Establishments like Chadwick's is what makes Bay Ridge a great area for food lovers.

Beyond my expectations. Food was great...dessert was awesome...the ambiance was very warm and cozy. There was a fireplace in the dining area...I wonder if it is a working one...if so, it would be really cozy. There's valet parking...wish I knew earlier instead of circling for parking around the restaurant. Live Entertainment on weekends...service was good. we ordered the Coconut crusted snapper...the seabass and the filet mignon...all were nicely prepared. Would definitely go back and try the others on the menu
