Since the Gardens was under great management, it is now closed. The owner and the bar maid drank etc........... the business away and did not know how to manage.

Just Stay Home and Get Drunk

As much as I like to like things that other people hate and hate things that other people like, this place sucks all the way around and I can't find anything positive to say about it. I really wanted it to be that neighborhood-dive-that-you-love place, but there's nothing to love. The crowd is mostly pathetic old men trying to score every time anything vaguely female walks into the place. The bartender is sub-literate. The drinks are too expensive for a dive. No decent happy-hour specials. Never a buy back.

I mean, why bother? From now on, whenever the urge strikes to go to the Gardens, I'm just gonna pick up a six-pack of schlitz and watch reruns of Seinfeld on TV.
