UUMM, I paid $17 dollars for a bagel with turkey/swiss, an egg sandwich, a small coffee and a soda. That's just nuts.

Best Breakfast in the Heights

This corner spot on Clark st is great for Breakfast. I highly recommend the waffles, french toast and omelets. Great Breakfast sausage too. If you go on the weekends, expect a wait to get a table, but the weekdays aren't so bad. The lunch and dinner food is a little sub par though. Still it's a convenient little place and reasonably priced.

Good Food, Good Service

Clark's Corner has very good food. However, the owners can be a little arrogant and not as nice to customers as they ought. I live in Brooklyn Heights and I've heard many of my neighbors complain as to how they have been spoken to. Again the food is good. It can get very crowded on week-end mornings, but you are seated quickly, Service is mostly good.

Terrible Service! Rude, Nasty, Awful!!

I've never actually eaten here, so I can't tell you about the food. I would NEVER eat here because the owners/staff are awful! They accost passerbys on the street with dogs, yelling at them to walk on the other side of the street! I walk my dog in this neighborhood, and am always yelled at by staff/owners, JUST FOR WALKING BY!!! My dog isn't peeing on their building, I'm not leaving his "business" on the sidewalk, WE'RE WALKING!! They are rude, and obnoxious, and hey, THEY DON'T OWN THE SIDEWALK. It's ridiculous!!!

I refuse to patron a business that attacks the public simply for walking on "their side of the street".

I encourage others to avoid them as well, this is NOT what we need in the neighborhood.

Cadman Plaza diner is great, they have great food, they're pretty cheap, opemn almost all the time.

DON'T GO HERE!!!!!

Awesome eveything!

Weekends are packed, especially in the morning. They seat your promtly--food is zipped out and done oh-so-well! on a sunny day the sun just streams in throught their huge windows.. shades adjustment is available. Can't ever go wrong with this place. I always take company there that come down. Service is fabulous as well. Family oriented.. go-go-go asap.

Bland & Boring

If you asked me for my opinion I would tell you NOT to go to Clarks Restaurant. We just ate there this evening and it was awful. Perhaps some of the blandest and most uninspiring food I've ever been served. Service was great but the food was terrible.

Did I mention that the food was bad?

Best Bet

I'll keep this simple. If you are hungry, want good portions, great prices, good location (walking distance to subway/buses and Montague/Courts), go to Clark's Corner. The place is even kid friendly too (everytime I've been the kids were behaving, including mine). Come hungry though, they are not skimpy at breakfast or lunch. It's got that cool Brooklyn Heights flavor!

Best food and service on the cheap!

I have been going to this place for years. Even when the place is packed, you get a seat very quickly. The food is ALWAYS good and the service is top notch. The best part is that it is very inexpensive. When in the Heights, you can't go wrong with this place.
