Not the best

+Okay so the gym has great hours.
-Many of the weight machines have cracked vinyl which is so gross, it breeds germs and they have done nothing to fix this so many machines you cannot use unless you want the chance of catching MRSA and other staph.
-The trainers take over the gym which there are people in the gym who would like to utilize some of the machines the rest their drinks, notepads, and towels on.
-Lots of the machines are broken or not working correctly which is lousy.
-The trainers come in and make them change the music to the crappiest music ever, so loud that even with headphones you can still hear the bad music.
Compared to other gold's gyms I have been to this one ranks lowest on the list.
- Pros: Hours
- Cons: Broken machines, cracked vinyl, trainers
Despite its Hollywood connections, this franchise's focus is on pumping iron, not newfangled razzle-dazzle.

In Short
The Terminator and the Incredible Hulk (aka Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno) lifted weights at the gym's Venice, California, flagship years ago, but even today, customers frequenting charter locations are bound to encounter serious muscle. Take note: The boys with bulging biceps are the mascots, not the majority. Gold's generally offers Spinning, aerobics and kickboxing classes, yet weight-training remains the core of the program. Dumbbells and barbells, not spa-like amenities, are the attractions that draw the beef-heads in droves.
I like my gym :)

I can't say I agree with the negative post. I don't have anything bad to say about this gym. It's not glitz and glamour but it has enough to get the job done. The staff and the members are great. I've had memberships at other gyms before and I feel this place is one of my best experiences. You have a mixed crowd here from young to old and all shapes and sizes....no intimidation. They do offer a good amount of classes ranging from Spin to Belly Dancing. And they also offer personal training through the company Lean On Me Body Works. Which I would highly recommend as well. I've had nothing but a great experience here. :)
worst gay gym inthe city

Management will through you out if you complain abiut anything and not refund your membership. Everyone is suing them. Also, 95% of the members are gay which is fine unless you are not gay
- Pros: everything else is terrible ... the staff are the worst
- Cons: great location
