I was more than impressed with my stay at Lefferts. Both Mark and Monika made my stay a delight, both were helpful and had great local knowledge. Great location, near Prospect Park and near the Subway. Rooms were excellent. The Breakfasts were amazing and really set my days up for wandering around Manhattan. I recommend this B&B!!!

A Perfect Brooklyn Bed and Breakfast Experience!!

This Bed and Breakfast was the best part about my trip to NYC! It went way beyond my expectations! Warm, friendly and thoughtful owners held my hand at every point from when I first enquired about staying there, to helping me get back to JFK! Mark & Moni made me feel so at home in their beautiful townhouse! The rooms were just lovely with Moroccan arts and crafts and Moni kept everything so fresh and clean it was even a delight to share a bathroom. Clean, comfy bedding and plush, fresh bath towels and soaps, shampoos and conditioners made me feel like I was staying in a spa! The towels were presented like in a 5-star hotel! Moni's attention to detail was just amazing!

The breakfast was incredible! Always served like in a restaurant and always FRESH coffee and juice, fresh cut fruits and baking, with the owners always there paying close attention to the guests and great conversations! They were genuinely interested in my stay and making sure my trip was a great experience. They helped my every day after breakfast, searching online in the parlor for things of interest and printing out maps and directions. I really appreciated how the owners shared with me their ideas about fun and interesting things to do and going on in NYC! This is one of the greatest things about a good Bed & Breakfast! You get all the travel and tourism tips from the locals instead of a cold hotel clerk! Mark & Moni also treated me to drinks and appetizers at their exotic nightspot, Kush Lounge which is an amazing place.

They were always home and available anytime I had a question or need, and they were always helfpful.

The neighborhood was quite charming, so close to Prospect Park and the Botanic Garden and the Metro was only 3 blocks away and took me to Manhattan in 15 minutes! I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone staying in NYC! I know I will be back!
