by HeatherL

Just wanted to say the deliciously frosty mugs ARE 16oz mugs, for the record. ;)

Awesome new neighborhood bar!

by lisag2423

It's new, but feels like it's been here forever! They changed the old fish store into a beautiful bar, with bocce ball and a pool table. I like the staff and the bar muchies! Try the fried mac and cheese, it's crazy! You can meet new people here easily, as it's nicely spread out and spacious. You can also come with a huge group (or team!) and sit in one of their booths. A perfect additon to the park slope bar scene!

  • Pros: Great Bar Food! Awesome space

Games galore, microbrews and double-decker cheeseburgers rule at this woodsy Park Slope hangout.

by Joshua M Bernstein

In Short
If it weren't called Dram Shop, you might mistake this local watering hole for a gaming depot, what with its supply of shuffleboard, darts, pool and enough board games to stock a Toys "R" Us. There's no lack of space at the 33-foot wooden bar, but some patrons prefer to commandeer a massive booth (spacious enough for eight), before delving into one of Dram Shop's delicious microbrews--like Sixpoint's caramel-nuanced Brownstone or Smuttynose's bracingly hoppy IPA--served in frozen mugs. They're perfect for clinking with the crowd of trendy 20-somethings, couples, lesbians and dudes in khakis, one of whom is always willing to combat you in Connect Four.

Hits: If you dig frosty mugs of microbrew beer and battling your buddies in shuffleboard and pool, you'll have a blast.

Misses:
Noise-averse drinkers, beware; the jukebox and blasting radio tend to drown out conversation. Also, draft beers are served in 12-ounce, not 16-ounce, glasses.
