I have worked for this agency for 2 years . I must say that it is a excellent place to work if you have what it takes.The office staff is very friendly and reliable and they know their employees by name (if you say your first name you never have to say your last). They pay well if you know what you are worth. If you don't know to ask for more you don' t get it. They are just like every other temp agency , the pay is always negotiable! I highly recommend them!

Hi, I just registered with them and it was a good experience. They actually already pitched me a cool sounding gig during the interviewl. I'll see where it goes i guess... I am new to NY from the midwest where we put a lot of emphasis on courtesy and friendliness. Well all of them were. Also got to meet the whole team as previous reviews mentioned. Seems like standard procedure there. All in all it compared to some of the more well known places I've been to but felt a bit more personal.

Pros: very approachable and friendly reps

The secretary needs attitude adjustment. She doesn't give people any respect and speaks as if she has no time to deal with you.

You are probably directed there because you see so many positive ratings online, however, when you actually call them, the secretary refuse to answer any questions regarding what the general procedure is. Whatever you ask, she'll just tell you to fax the resume and give you a fax number. She sounds like she doesn't want to talk to you because you are annoying.

Cons: rude secretary that doesn't answer any general questions

After meeting with Temp Ex, I couldn't wait to hop on citysearch (where I found them) and give my feedback. I'm actually very surprised about the post below. I have not, in a very long time, received more accomodating and friendly service as I did from the front desk rep there. In terms of their other associates, it's true that everyone is very friendly and eager to help. Their clients seemed interesting and they gave me a solid overview of the areas in which they specialize. I am looking forward to hearing from them but until then, I wanted to share the details of my interview because it was a markedly better experience than I've had at various other Temporary Agencies.

Pros: more hands on recruiters than at your average agency. pleasant personalities too.

Cons: true what they say about the loud office...

I must be the exception...I came across 3 people who seemed ready willing and able to help...the secretary is not nice at all...I won't say her name but she needs to a personality adjustment..you can tell when she's having a bad day...

I started with Temp Excellence a few months ago. They placed me at MTV in Dec and I am now full time staff with benefits!!! I cannot thank them enough. I love my job and owe it all to them. They were always so helpful and accommodating to my schedule. They are very professional but also personable. I cannot thank them enough for this opportunity. I highly recommend them.

Pros: Professional, Personable, Variety of assignments

Temporary Excellence is a small agency but they have big contacts. I really admire all of Temporary Excellence recuiters such as Kevin and Jewel. They gave me a position at Columbia Presybertarian Hospital. Highly Recommended.

I highly recommend Temporary Excellence to anyone looking for work! After searching for temp work awhile ago, I found that they were unique in that they treated me like the capable college educated person that I am rather than just a number. Their staff is extremely helpful at placing you in a variety of positions. In the 5 months that I worked with them (before finding myself a permanent job), there was rarely an occasion when they couldn't fill my calendar with work-- mostly assisting executives in interesting departments at MTV in Times Square. Highly recommended!
