I recently relocated to Park Slope from Manhattan and decided to check out a salon on 4th Ave and Union Street called Delilah. My appointment was with Marc. Much to my surprise, my highlights look better than the $300 job I was getting in the city and the cut was fantastic. I thought for sure Marc was from Manhattan but he claimed he came from a salon on Fifth Ave. a block away. He used three different blond colors on my hair. I've been back twice and have not been disappointed. Must round up my city gal pals and make a day of Delilah Salon with a nice brunch on Fifth Ave. to follow! Thanks, Marc!

Excellent consultation, color and cut!

I always get an excellent cut at Delilah's salon, but the other day I also got an amazing color experience. A week later and I am still getting compliments.

I popped in the other day to talk about what to do for my wedding day and Leila was excellent at helping me talk to the process. When we both figured out that my idea of creating an updo by myself the day of probably wasn't going to happen and add extra stress, she gave the excellent advice of adding some color to my hair for extra shine and giving it a sexy and easily style-able cut. I walked out of there a few hours later with an excellent color, super-shiny hair and a sexy bob that matches my persona and wedding dress perfectly. I am so psyched that I don't have to worry about futzing with my hair on my wedding day and that I have a style that will look great for the honeymoon. Many many thanks.

Talented stylists and affordable prices

I've been a client in Delilah Salon for about three years now. I usually get my hair done by Leila,she is excelent with hilites( I like them well blended and naturaly looking) my hair is not easy to deal with, its very thick and long. I used to go to other salons I could see the frustrations on my stylists faces when they saw my hair. Leila never made me feel unwelcome she also does a good job in layering my hair and it always grows out well. I should also mention that i had my hair done by other stylists in the same salon because Leila is temporarily not available, they did a good job on my color and cut . Its a great team of talented stylists and affordable prices its not easy to find that these days.

Marc great hilites and cut

I went in and not knowing him, he gave me great hilites that I pay 300 in the city for, and a great, ez to care for cut. HE IS GREAT,as I was walking to the subway someone said how great my hair looked

what a downer

I used to get my hair done with Mark at LE CHANDELIER SALON, only to find he is now here. However the big sign in the window rubbed me the wrong way. It was tacky that he had to use the name Le Chandelier in his promotion. It was bad enough he hurt Le Chandelier (one of the best salons in Brooklyn) by working only one block away, along with Leila who used to work at Le Chandelier too., that I decided to stay with Le Chandelier. It's the principle and the class of the matter. Sorry Mark, you lost me.

Great Hair Cut

Tatiana did my hair. She first listened to what I wanted and was also cautious about taking off too much length which I appreciated.

She gave me exactly what I wanted and l left feeling gorgeous. I think the difference between Tatiana and some other hairdressers I have had in the past, is that Tatiana gave me a hair style not just a hair cut.

A friend of mine said I looked like a hair model.

• Pros: Styling hairdo, and good price
• Cons: none really...but I am not crazy about 4th Avenue

Don't believe the lies

I went to this salon after reading all the positive comments on this website and when I got there the salon was empty. The lady named tamara barely spoke english, which concerned me because dhe couldn't understand what I wanted. She only had to cut my bangs and she cut them jagged lweaving pieces longer on the sides and different length starting on the left and then getting shorter towards the right. She had no other customers so I don't see what the problem was. I will never return to this salon

Check out Delilah

After a disastrous experience at another Park Slope salon, I found Delilah. Leila has been cutting my hair for just over a year now and consistently gives me exactly what I want. I have short hair and she knows how to cut it (1) so it has texture and (2) so it grows out nicely between cuts. I can tell that she cares about how I look and feel about my cut, and she spends ample time giving my hair the right shape. I consistently receive compliments after I've been to Delilah, and it's always fun to reveal that I spent $35 rather than $150 or more. I strongly recommend Delilah.

A great salon for everything you need...

All I was looking for was a good, honest hair stylist. I've been to so many places; in the city, outside the city and evrywhere else. I found Delilah Salon HERE in city search and decided to try. I was amazed by the honesty and the professionalism. Lilah listened to what I wanted, was very professional and very patient with me (i could be a huge pain in the **** when it comes to my hair). Since then, every time I visit, I leave the place satisfied and happy, knowing I look the way I wanted.

I highly recommend Delilah Salon, you will love what you see in the mirror.

Oh, - and I forgot to mention, Delilah Salon is very easy and convenient to get to, it's literally 5 steps from the subway station.

talent is an understatement

my stylist julia is probably who i consider god. i come in about every three to five weeks and she always has something for me in store. whether its a new color or a new cut her suggestions always turn out flawless. with a reasonable price and an amazing stylist what more do you need it life.
