Super Accommodating

I went to this yoga center under the mistaken belief that I was attending a "Level 1" course. I realized I had made a mistake when the second pose was handstand! Even so, the teacher was extremely patient with me and took time to teach me basic things.
I have taken yoga at several locations, and although I have never done Iyengar, this place gave me individualized attention that I have not gotten except through private instruction. I can't speak for all the instructors there, but the fact that I was treated well even though I was holding back the class and it required extra effort on the part of the teacher shows that this place is the real deal. Highly recommended.
- Pros: Very Understanding Instructors
- Cons: None so far
Best yoga studio in Brooklyn!
by brooklynmermaid at Citysearch
I love this place! I've been going here for years. All the instructors are knowledgeable, insightful, and welcoming. So many other studios you just go through the motions, not really understanding how things connect, but these people actually spends the time explaining how your body works. I have a pretty good understanding of biomechanics, but I always learn something here. Plus, the other students are friendly, and there are lots of props to help you through whatever body issues you have (I happen to have a lot, so this is great for me). I particularly like the restorative class on Fridays, I went last night and feel like a new person. I highly recommend both this style (Iyengar) and this yoga studio.
- Pros: knowledgeable, friendly and attentive teachers, lots of props, nice space
- Cons: parking can be difficult
Amazing Instructors

What a great find in Brooklyn! This place has it all -a varied schedule, tons of props, a rope wall ( which is amazing to hang upside down on) and knowledgeable instructors. That last one is the most important- after each class I find myself strolling down Fifth Ave amazed by the clarity of the instructor and feeling like a new man. I think I'm addicted!
- Pros: Instructors
- Cons: none
I was embarrassed...

My new year's resolution is to get better so I visited this place. The entrance door was open and session was on. since there was nobody to talk I was looking around and then an instructor came out and just let me out of the center. I fully understand that she was teaching and could not help me out.
If they don't want to be bothered or don't want to welcome potential customer they should have locked the door . I felt insulted by the way she treated me she just kicked me out as if I were dirt or something.
Yoga is not just stretching your body, It is not just physical. It is a way of meeting God and Universe.
positive energy gathers good things. she should have let me watch the session if she is smart.
- Pros: Location is good
- Cons: Energy is not comfortable
Irony !

I don't know about other instructors in this place but because of one instructor the whole image of this yoga center got so bad.
She was very arrogant and negative, she needs spritual Feng Shui for herself.
