Brooklyn Eyeworks....Simply the Best!. Great selection of quality and fashionable frames, very reasonable prices. I purchased a new pair of frames for my reading glasses here and I couldn't be more pleased. The temples are hot pink and the glasses are as light as a feather. They were customized just for me and I have gotten so many compliments on them. You can tell Dan takes much pride in what he does....not to mention he's an incredibly nice guy! Jessica is awesome too and really knows her stuff! Dan and his staff go way above and beyond to ensure you leave the store happy. I am a customer and fan for life!

Exceptionally precise work, unbeatable price/service. I actually discovered this optical place on this citysearch site and traveled from a distance to it. The measurement process far exceeded my experience at other optical places; two pairs of prescription glasses were created with no adjustment necessary in any way, truly unusual in my experience. They listen to you, they bend over backwards to accommodate every single request, they beat all pricing anywhere, they have a selection that I have NEVER seen matched, but most of all it is the workmanship - it has no equal. I am beyond thrilled with this place and telling everyone I can talk to about it. Worth a trip from anywhere at all to get this kind of old-fashioned service with state-of-the-art optical technique!

Fantastic Sunglasses!!. Went into Brooklyn Eyeworks to look at prescription Sunglasses and was greeted with excellent customer service from Danny. He gave me many suggestions on what would work with my face, frame, designer suggestions and the glasses I got were beautiful. Great customer service with reasonable prices. Would recommend to everyone.

Satisfaction guaranteed. There were several mishaps with having a pair of eyeglasses made but the end result was very satisfactory. Dan is a compassionate man who welcomes you into his store and goes to great lenghts to provide a wonderful outcome.

I wouldn't go elsewhere, even though I live in Manhattan. I found Brooklyn Eyeworks about a year ago, right here on Citysearch. (I already had a prescription from my eye doctor and I already had frames that were only about one year old, so I just needed to have new lenses made). Dan was a *super-nice* guy; incredibly pleasant.

Dan is a man of his word. Dan gave me a full refund and apologized the subpar experience I had at Brooklyn Eye Works. I really respect the ownership he took of the situation and the quickness of his action in resolving it once it had been brought to his attention. He truly feels that everyone that comes into his shop matters. Unlike a lot of places, you’re not just another number. He realizes that you could have gone anywhere but is very warm to all the customers that choose his shop. I really appreciate his taking the time make every customer count. He definitely goes above and beyond.

Dan's words are his honor!. I walked in and had my eyes checked in January 2009. I thought to myself, Latinos going for the American dream! I am Latina and was so impressed and proud to see a beautiful layout ie, the chosen color paint , cool mirrors, nice music, well cared for plants (were so green and shinny I thought they were fake) I even saw feug shui with running water fall. I had problems going back to pick up my frames, Dan took care of everything. I had my glasses sooner then later. Thank you Dan on helping me get what I needed. Wish you lots of success!!

A CUT ABOVE!. I have been going to Brooklyn Eyeworks for about 2 years. The service is great and Danny & Jessica are always a delight. A few days ago I decided to go to another Optometrist only because they took my VSP insurance. WHAT A BIG FAT MISTAKE! Where was the service? Where was the common curtesey? Alot of these places think that just because they accept your insurance, that they are doing you a favor! The service was so subpar. The attitude of the staff was as if I were disturbing them. Regardless of my insurance coverage, I'm a paying customer... treat me with some kindness. Now I know that Brooklyn Eyeworks IS a cut above the rest. I'll totally be back to Brooklyn Eyeworks. My advise to everyone is this: Even though a place takes your insurance, check them out first. They should earn your business especailly in today's economic climate. By nilly-willy going to an in-network provider for your eyecare, you're just throwing a dart in the wind and whatever you get then so be it. Take it from me VSP members; take more control of your health. Sincerely Loren.

Superior & Compassionate Service. There are few businesses that go out of their way to help people. This is one of them. I realized a few days before I moved from Brooklyn to Boulder that my glasses were nowhere to be found. I showed up and asked if there was anything they could do for me on such short notice. It also happened to be the weekend and they were closed on Sunday. Not only did Danny manage to get a new pair made before I left, he was able to get them to me on Sunday evening while they did construction on the store, the night before I moved. Had I not been able to get these glasses, the 3 day drive across the country would have been a disaster and my head would have exploded. Oh yes, and they were running a special on free frames, so I saved money as well. Thank you for your understanding, help, and service! Maybe you could consider opening a store in Colorado!
