What users are saying:
Classic customer service + fantastic fragrances = pure heaven

I don't normally take the time to write a review of a store unless the experience was truly remarkable - usually in a negative way, but I had such a fantastic experience at CB I Hate Perfume that I had to create an account just to comment.
I purchased a fantastic scent - Winter 1972 - at CB, before I noticed that the atomizer did not work after leaving the store. I brought it back and they immediately swapped the top and apologized. After I had left the store, I slipped, and dropped the glass bottle on the sidewalk outside of the shop shattering it into about a million little pieces. I brought it back in, only to give them the shattered bottle and ask them to throw it out, but the shop attendant told me to wait until the owner, Christopher (CB himsef) came back to see if they could give me a discount on another bottle. Better yet, they offered me half a fresh bottle free of charge, since they were out of stock and it was the last remaining bottle of the scent, and offered to call when they got more in stock in about a week.
This is exactly the type of customer service that keeps customers going back loyally for years. I will definately be back in the future for all of my perfume needs, and I have been telling everyone around town about how fantastic my experience was.
Thanks CB I Hate Perfume!!

Unique and original scents from a super precise perfumery.

In Short
This perfumery refreshes the way people think of and use scents. Christopher Brosius markets his diminutive bottles of spot-on, alcohol-free fragrances from this spare, silver-floored studio in a post-industrial area of Williamsburg. Single notes (such as boiled rice or hay) precisely replicate the real thing, while complex, whimsically named perfumes, like suntan lotion-heavy "At the Beach 1966" and cinema-inspired "Mr. Hulot's Holiday," invoke thoughts and emotions of specific times and places.
