Pool table, cheap drinks, tons of room and potential. Projector for awesome movie nights and certainly feels like a living room! I can't wait till the neighborhood takes advantage of this place. Great for parties!! I have even been to weddings there.
- Pros: projector, cool atmosphere, pool, lots of room
- Cons: sometimes empty

Forget about the living room lounge if you have to travel more than a block or 2 from your own living room. I found the bar had only the cheepest wine,no food and the music was reminiscent of college break on a bad night.
The first mistake was when I called to confirm Thursday night open mics as listed and I learned it was a misprint and they have open mic on Wednesday. Well, how hard is it to go on line and correct the date!!!
Maybe that's why hardly any one but a few local kids were there.
I showed up to perform but left feeling disappointed. The few people who did show up were scared away by some pretty arrogant players. It's a pity that the people who run the place aren't more together. At least I can prevent other unfortunate incidents like mine by passing the word around-open mics don't have to be this lame.

Went for a birthday night out, and had a blast. Great DJ on Saturday nights, plays anything you want. Look at the MySpace page for upcoming goodies www.myspace/livingroomlounge. Open 7 days a week! Movie night, monthly burlesque show, karaoke, and more!
- Pros: Open 7 days, romantic, low lighting, great DJ, great happy hours
- Cons: None

Roomie, friendly people, cool events, cheap drinks, everything you can ask for and just a few blocks from the 25th street R stop. Definitely worth a visit any night if you're in the neighborhood, worth a treck for one of their parties or shows.
- Pros: Fun, cheap, friendly
- Cons: sometimes it's dead, sometimes it's hopping, hard to judge
The BEST lounge I've ever been to.

I absolutely love the Living Room Lounge (LRL). I started going to the LRL approximately two months ago and absolutely love it. The Lounge has a very welcoming and comfortable environment. The employees are warm and friendly. Great customer service. Every day the lounge features something different and my favorites are Friday Karaoke night and Saturday DJ night - a lot of singing and dancing. The drinks are great and are at decent prices. I have met great people who visit the lounge and made a lot of friends. The lounge is easy to get to with the R train on 25th St and 4th Ave and the B63 Bus on 5th Ave. I have a great time every time I go and would recommend everyone and anyone to come join me at the lounge. You will definitely love it.
- Pros: Environment, People and Music.
Roomy South Slope bar for parties, bands and monthly burlesque.

The Scene
On the border between Park Slope and Sunset Park, surrounded by residential housing, Latin beauty parlors and taquerias, this sprawling loft of a bar brings together gentrifying types from points north and south. Exposed brick walls, ornate vintage couches and club chairs warmly accommodate groups, which can be sparse due to lack of foot traffic, though teeming at happy hour, birthday parties and performances. The jukebox is filled with the greatest hits of the Who, the Cars and Neil Diamond, among other comfort tunes.
The Draw
The owner, who previously presided over 13 Little Devils, keeps the program varied, with karaoke Tuesdays, rock and jazz bands Wednesdays, open mic Thursdays, DJs on the weekends, and a range of themed one-off events. The most popular is a burlesque night every second Friday of the month, featuring such local stars as Anita Cookie, Peekaboo Pointe and Nasty Canasta.
