Relaxing atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff who make you feel like their number one priority is making you look like a million bucks. Gina is amazing! Her ability to understand an individual and transform them is a gift. After two visits to Gina, my hair not only looks but feels healthy and manageable. Prior to my experiences at Enve Salon, my hair was over processed, uneven, and severely damaged. Thank you Gina for the revival!

I have been getting highlights for years. After going from stylist to stylist it left my hair almost all blonde and dry. I am so glad I found Enve. The colorist, Michelle, has now been doing my color for the last few months and it looks so much more natural and healthy. I am so happy I found Enve!

Enve beauty Loung is my new favorite salon in New York. Gina cut my hair and she's fantastic, a total sweetheart and she did a really fantastic job. I love my cut and she really listened and talked to me about how she was going to cut my hair before she started. Everyone working there was really helpful and I LOVE that they're open late nights so I can come after work. I will definitely be back again. Next time I will have my color done...so check back for that review.

This is my second experience getting hair extensions, and I have now had them in for four months and they still look great. The first time around did not end so well.... However, my second experience at Enve Beauty Lounge was completely different. This is not to say my extensions the first time around didn't look good, but Gina (who uses Great Lengths) is really dedicated to your hair throughout the time that you have them in. Two months into having my extensions, free of charge, I came in and they checked my hair, and cleared out any tangles. Her technique is also different. Compared to the first time my extensions did not knot up as much, (and when this happens you have to stay on top of it) and I believe this was in large part due to her technique. My hair was also longer, and fuller so to me this was extremely impressive. I felt so beautiful - even the second time around when you see them finished it is still quite the site. And Gina loves this too; she really cares about how you feel, the health of your hair, and the best way to take care of it. I highly recommend getting Great Lengths at this salon. Further advice is to get your hands on a Great Lengths brush to protect your bonds. Whoever puts your extensions in should take them out. Brush you hair three times a day, and pull it back when you sleep. Also, Gina recommends when washing your hair not to put conditioner anywhere near your bonds because it will loosen them up. I am going in later this month, to have them taken them out, and I am going to get a new set put in. CJC

This place is amazing. I got great color and the perfect haircut. I have been to many other places in the city and none of them have been able to create a hairstyle and color that made me as happy as this one. Both my stylist and colorist listened while I explained in rather vague terms how I wanted my hair to look and then just made it happen. I left so happy with my haircut. I highly recommend it.

I was trying to discourage my girlfriend from getting her hair colored since I tend to prefer more natural styles, but she insisted so I insisted she at least spend the money on a real pro. Well I have to say the result is so much better than I expected. Her hair looks even better now than her natural color, a lot better... well maybe not necessarily 'better' but just as good and the change is very exciting, if you know what I mean. I don't usually write reviews online but I'm feeling kind of inspired just now :)

Michelle did a great job on my hair color. It was dull and needed a boost. I now have great shine and very natural highlights. I have had so many complements on my hair. Thank you, I am looking forward to coming back soon. Joy

I've had the same boring, low-maintenance haircut for a while and I wanted to try something new. After reading through citysearch I came upon Enve and Gina. It was easy to set up an appointment with Gina and the hours are really convenient that's a big plus. The salon is amazing, I'm used to going to cheap barbers down the street, I'm a guy btw, but the place is really spacious and hip looking. Gina was really friendly and asked me a lot of questions about what I was looking for and etc. Again i'm used to just saying give me a #2 lol. The girl washing my hair was very good. It was very relaxing that it made me sleepy. Gina was very attentive and friendly while cutting my hair. The cut came out great, she explained to me how to style it to try to achieve the same look as her. Everything was great, the price was a little on the expensive side considering I don't have that much hair to cut lol but I'd say it was worth it. I might go back to this salon after I explore other places. I had a great experience overall.

When I went to Gina, I had a horrible cut that was not flattering. I had let it go for 6 months on top of that because I just didn’t want to bother with another disappointing cut. I have mid-length, fine, wavy hair that can look beautiful, but every stylist refused to see the potential. Gina paid a lot of attention to what I was telling her - how I loved my long, wavy hair, and I wanted it back! (Three years ago some whack job gave me the worst cut ever and to correct it I had to cut off over a foot of hair. Ever since I haven't found anyone who could help me restore my beautiful long hair) She told me not only was it possible to get my long hair back, but it would be EASY. I had very little damage and she could just "dust" the bottom to freshen it and leave me with all my length. As far as the horrible and unflattering layers - she said those could easily be tweaked without removing much length. I was skeptical because I have gone to some of the most expensive and recommended salons in NYC and still I was at disaster-level. The new cut flatters my bone structure and my hair type and I can get away with little to no maintenance- exactly what I have been wanting! Every other stylist I have gone to for the past three years has cut my hair however they wanted. They would convince me to try some new “great” style that would end up looking bad on me and not working with my hair. Or, they would “trim” off 3 inches telling me my hair was so damaged it was beyond repair. It was a fight to communicate with them. Gina is not only extremely talented as a stylist but she actually listened to what I was looking for and gave me input on how I could best achieve the beautiful, tousled waves I wanted with little maintenance. I went from thinking my hair had no hope to loving it again! I love my hair again, and I love Gina for giving it back to me! I can't recommend her highly enough - she is just gifted!

Pros: listens to customers, works with your bone structure and hair type, private and relaxing

Cons: none!
