I've been to Stout several times before for a meal. Because of the great location I wanted to host a football watch party at this venue for about 20-30 people, nothing formal. I was informed about private rooms but I did nto desire that. I was told that there was an area available for reservation but it would have to be confirmed with the party planner. I was then informed that this "available" area could not be reserved due to happy hour (after I was told there was no happy hour). If I wanted to reserve that small bar space in the back it would be a $2500 bar guarantee. That means my guests would have to spend about $100 for bar food on a random night? My take, they probably didn't want our business because that is a great way to deter a potential party. Maybe you must be Irish to be accepted there... Needless to say, I won't go back there for anything.
