Anybody who has had bedbugs in NYC knows how traumatizing the experience can be financially, emotionally and otherwise. Mike took every one of my frantic phone calls in good humor and is very knowledgeable. He spoke with me for at least 30 minutes when I first called.

Unfortunately, my apartment had to be sprayed more than once; however, Mike was always available and on time to help. I couldn't recommend a better pest control service. You need someone to make you feel better throughout the process, and get rid of those tenacious beasts. Absolute Death goes above and beyond on both fronts... and has a great name! Make sure you ask for Mike!

best pest control service around

I used Absolute Death on a recommendation and because I liked the name. They showed up on time and they totally knew what they were doing. They didn't just do a superficial extermination- they figured out the layout of my building (my adjacent neighbor is to blame and he used an inferior company) and gave me a price break on organic chemicals. Then they drilled and placed the products inside the walls and around my apartment to protect me from my neighbor. I have not seen a single (live) bedbug since. And when I needed documentation from them for my building to get reimbursed, they were really nice about providing me whatever I needed. I don't ususally write reviews of services online, but this company was so good I felt I owed it to them. I wouldn't wish bedbugs on anyone, but I can tell you I don't have them anymore, and I highly recommend this company.

Lovely, Flexible, Understanding, Competant and Thorough

I went through a terrible experience with an awful infestation that was caused by my building's negligence. It was both sudden and debilitating. A friend recommended Absolute Death. Mike scheduled an emergency appointment with me the very next day and gave me thorough instructions to prepare for his visit as well as tasks that I must follow through on to be sure of a complete extermination. He repeatedly checked in with me afterward to ensure my satisfaction and continued to answer every question or concern that crossed my mind. Not only did he do an excellent and highly professional job as an exterminator but he treated me with understanding and respect as a person going through a highly traumatic experience. If anyone should ask me for a company to recommend I would insist they call Absolute Death.

Thorough Service at a Great Price!

I recently discovered that I had a pest in my apartment and tried to treat the problem myself by using d-con traps and bait. However, to no avail, I finally decided to call an exterminator. I did a quick search in Brooklyn for exterminators and Absoulte Death was in the top of the search results. They came to my house on a Friday night and exterminated my apartment. I chose the Basic package which they installed in less than 30 minutes. They even got rid of a dead rodent that they found in my kitchen! They are fabulous and very personable! I would highly recommend Absolute Death for any pest control problems because they provide quality service!

I hope you never have bedbugs, but if you do, I couldn't have asked for better service.

They were knowledgeable and realistic about my problem. It was terrible and they told me right away that they would probably have to come back at least once. After one time, the problem improved significantly. I was still uncertain that all of the bedbugs were gone, so a few weeks later, they came back again. Since then, I have been able to live comfortably in my apartment again! Throughout the entire experience, they were always willing to answer my many questions, and I found that as long as I followed all of their instructions specifically, I was fine. I saw in some of the reviews that people complained about rashes from the chemicals, but I was told specifically not to let my bare skin touch areas that had been sprayed. I wore socks around my house and of course put a cover back over my futon. Another thing I noticed is that people complained that the problem wasn't solved or that they sprayed things that shouldn't be sprayed (a dog?). They specifically asked me to pack everything in to trash bags besides furniture and the like, so I don't know how this happened to people. The reality is that my whole experience with bedbugs was a complete nightmare and it was terrible having to leave my house to not be around the chemicals for a night and having to lure the bedbugs out to bite me and pack and unpack my stuff, but Absolute Death was realistic about how difficult it would be and in the end, did everything they could to solve the problem. If your bedbugs come back after using their service, it's probably a problem with your entire building and something that the owner needs to address. My landlord/owner were no help to me in the situation, and if it had come to that, I probably would have moved out. Luckily, that wasn't necessary. I don't know what else I could say except that I am thankful to Absolute Death for making my apartment livable again and for putting up with my many, many phone calls and obsessive questioning!

• Pros: Personal service - I usually spoke to one of two people - and basically, getting the job done.
• Cons: Literally, the only thing I can think of is that they are so busy answering calls that sometimes I had to call a few times to get someone on the phone. But I always did!

absolute terrible service

After a number of visits of not solving my bedbug proble, they said i was bringing them in each day. Somehow the next company i brought in solved the problem in short order. I also had a few things missing from my apartment which based on the looks of the exterminator guy i was afraid of bringing this to the attention of the Co. I just noticed that other people on this site had made similar remarks about having miing items. If they would have gotten rid of my problem i might not of cared.

Bedbug hitmen

Things became really uncomfortable when the people in my office realized that the bites they were getting were from a bedbug infestation. Needless to say, morale was low and people dreaded coming to work. After 2 unsuccessful visits by, in retrospect, clearly inferior exterminators, we called Absolute. After a 30 minute call in which I was given a detailed, in-depth briefing on bedbugs and their methods of eradication, I knew that I had found the right people. These guys are the real deal, very professional and very honest. The treatment had to be repeated a couple of times but we have been bedbug free for over 15 months now. In addition, we haven't seen any other pests either. This can't be good for ongoing business but it certainly justifies their price. I would recommend Absolute Death to anyone.

Nice to people, merciless to pests

I've been visited by Absolute Death many, many times because I live in a place that is unfortunately ideal for bedbugs. Little by little, the bedbugs have been eliminated from each bedroom. The bedbugs in my room have been especially persistent, but so are the guys from Absolute Death. They are super friendly and nice. They are flexible with scheduling, even when they are booked. They return my calls and calm my fears. They answer a million questions every time we talk. They are thorough and professional. They know everything about the chemicals they are using and why. They honor their 30-day guarantee respraying policy, which I very much appreciate due to my repeat visits. I have suffered many other kinds of pestilence in my life and have often been treated like a leper or freak - such is not the case with Absolute Death. Even though I've had a bedbug problem for months, they are still really patient and not judgemental. I highly recommend them to anyone with a bedbug or other sort of pest problem. Plus their company name is both serious and hilarious.

• Cons: A little expensive, but not everyone needs to be sprayed as many times as me...

Absolute Death Exterminators- Customer service excellence!!!

I am writing to thank the guys at Absolute Death for helping me in a very difficult and stressful situation. I called them to come and treat for bedbugs when I started getting these very strange bites which were different from any bites I'd ever had before. I began to suspect bedbugs shortly after getting these bites. EVERYONE that I spoke to at Absolute Death was beyond helpful. They took alot of time speaking to me and listening to me and explaining what the process would be like. They answered all of my questions, never lost patience and followed through with everything they promised. They have perfected the art of customer service and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. They stand behind their work and if you need them to come back, they are still as nice as they were the first time. Customer Service should be part of their name- thanks guys.

Bedbugs gone

First of I called Absolute Death and Frank answered the phone he was very helpful with everything took his time to explain everything and the process with the bedbugs my wife and I had. He told me what I needed to know and also sent me an e-mail explaining the whole process. I couldn't believe there was some much work to get rid of these pest. As I called the next day Absolute Death came to my house and went to town with these pest wow I couldn't believe it. I like the the fact that they didn't waste time and started to exterminate these little pest. My wife was happy that we called Absolute death because now we live happy and pest free. I recommend these people to anyone I can't believe the service they provide for me. I would use them again for anything. thank you absolute death our home is safe again.
