I do not recommend...
by restauRANTandRAVE at Citysearch
We arrived at a place I once used to admire for late night noshing. Our table was visited 15 minutes after being seated and once our order was taken we never saw the waiter. I am usually forgiving of mistakes or overwhelming table load but this was not that case. I don't even know the waiter's name---that is how little time he spent at our table, which was overrun with ants. Food was burned and basically slop. Avoid at all costs...
- Pros: fast seating
- Cons: worst service, bad food, ants, dirty bathrooms, uncomfortabl
Just a shame

The main reason we didn't like our dinner might seem fickle but here goes - fajitas came out and looked alright chicken, assorted veggies, reasonably seasoned - we waited. A couple of tired tortillas showed up. Then nothing. Really? No sour cream, guac, pico de gallo, salsa, cheese, refried or pinto beans nothing - just a chicken medley for your dry enjoyment on a tortilla, add to that the lack of chips and salsa when you first sit down (a bit of a shock too). Margarita's weren't bad but maybe its just cos we are condiment people but we won't be back. Am I overreacting? Open to comment.
- Pros: Nice Atmosphere
- Cons: Middling Food
Unhygienic

Loved it
by monicaterry at Citysearch
A coworker and I tried Pacifico after work a few Fridays and loved it. The atmosphere was great. The food we ordered was excellent, although I wouldn't say the margaritas were anything to write home about. Our waitress wasn't mean, but not especially warm or attentive either. I must say I am surprised by the bad reviews of the restaurant earlier in the year, though. Maybe it has improved since then? Regardless, we'll be back and can't wait to visit in the summer to take advantage of the patio.
- Pros: Ambience, Food
- Cons: Margaritas, Serivce
Amazing staff made our dream wedding come true!
by DaveandRachel at Citysearch
We had our first date here five years ago and decided to have our wedding reception here this month. We've always enjoyed going to Pacifico, and now all of our guests are raving about the food and how accommodating the staff was also! Richard and Ismet went above and beyond to make us feel like we were part of their family. We are obviously biased, but there is magic in this place! Rustic and charming, this is a great romantic spot for a delicious meal. Try the fish tacos, pork chop, ribs, wings, or crab cakes. Their margaritas - blood-orange or pomegranate are the best. We live in L.A., but every time we come home to Brooklyn, we'll be sure to stop in to Pacifico!
- Pros: Great Mexican food and margaritas in a romantic, rustic atmosphere
- Cons: Too far from Los Angeles (where we live now)
Raymond the bartender rocks!
by SLPGRL at Citysearch
Pacifico is a great place to casually hang out. The drinks are great, especially when made by Raymond. The omlette for brunch is great... the spinach is fresh, definately not frozen... quacamole at pacifico is yummy, as are the wings with chimmichuri. A weakness is the chicken in the salads. It's just average, just shredded, no seasoning on it. Also, I personally wasn't a fan of the portobello and asparagus mole. Overall, decent food at a good price, with friendly people.
Gross food
by tink1975 at Citysearch
Wow--I can't remember the last time I had such gross food in New York. My quesadilla tasted like it had been made by a three-year old with no sense of proportion or flavor. And $11 for a plate of bland guacamole? Come on. Don't get me started on the margaritas, either. Mine tasted like the bartender had forgotten to add the tequila. Really, I find it rather scandalous that such a crappy restaurant attracts such crowds--this, in the city of a million restaurants, at least 9/10 of which are way better than this one. Save your money and your time and go somewhere else. Oh, and I never write reviews--I just was so moved by how bad this place was, I felt it was my duty to spread the word.
Amazing Margaritas! Sassy Servers! Food still good...
by allreadytogo5 at Citysearch
I love this place! We've been coming here for 4 years, especially during the summer even though it's so packed and busy. But we come again and again because it's so much fun, and the margarita's are amazing! I know they changed the menu recently, new owners or something, but some of our good old faves are still there--pork quesadilla! ribs! and thos freaking nachos!!
have a margarita, sit outside, have another margarita and tell the sassy girls and guys who bring you your food we said hello! they're awesome.
- Pros: cheap, strong drinks, fun atmosphere
- Cons: busy in summer
great for food and drinks

This is a great place. Good food, good margueritas and a great atmosphere. Sure the waitresses aren't quite friendly. But the food and atmosphere more than make up for it.
crapico?
by davidb1b at Citysearch
was gonna drive 40min for Baja Fresh on long island, then was gonna go to Alma (which we love)... but decided to try a new place. I wish we had just gone to San Loco where the food is better. Pacifico basically stinks, literally too. the decor is great albeit dirtyish. coming out of the bathroom (no paper towels before dinner rush had even begun) i almost yuked when i looked downstairs towards the prep kitchen.. if the prep kitchen looks filthy from the outset, the inset is probably vile. the food confirmed it. flavorless and avg for the most part. the menus themselves were disgusting even, i mean, would xeroxing a few new paper inserts be too much effort for whoever 'manages' this place? and the margaritas were terrible, point blank. if i wanted tequila on the rocks with a splash of lime and triple sec thrown in, i wouldve ordered it that way. no balance, no flavor. if youre drunk already or alma is full, go to crapico (pacifico)
