Dood brah what was your problem?
by elitt
It's more likely the staff member you interacted with was dead tired from working at a place where so many people enjoy shopping. Since the day it opened, Bierkraft has served up not only the finest, freshest selection of beeyas in the tri-state, but a friendly attitude as well. I support my local bodega, but when you want to go beer shopping, there's no other choice.
Bierkraft rocks.
- Pros: freshness
- Cons: hours / an hour later please!?
Bring plenty of cash
by balzyguy
Incredibly overpriced, and the salesperson I interacted with was downright rude. Go to the deli next door - they have a decent selection and its half the price.
- Pros: Can't think of one
- Cons: Rude staff, overpriced, overrated
Big Bottles of Beer!!!
by phonohohno
This is one of the reasons Brooklyn is awesome. In addition to the mind boggling amount of beer, there is a huge cheese selection, and tons of chocolate. The people there obviously care a lot about what they're selling, and you can spend hours talking to the folks behind the cheese counter. They just started selling seasonal or specialty beer by the big bottle, and you bring in your big bottle and fill it up, then bring it back for more when it's empty! The world is a better place for this.
- Pros: big bottles of beer, lots of cheese
- Cons: not open late enough
High-end beers--with prices to match.
by Contributor
Suds connoisseurs will no doubt find their jaws dropping at the astonishing array of imported beers chilling in the nearly store-length fridge. Said jaws may actually detach and hit the floor once the price tags are spotted. While one could conceivably break the bank catering a soiree with provisions from this pricey Fifth Avenue gourmet grocery and beer emporium, no doubt the guests would be left with fond memories of the evening's hard-to-find Italian sausages and rare Belgian brews while you're off in debtor's prison. Bierkraft also hosts frequent tasting events, with generous portions of featured beers and cheese, and guest speakers to boot.
