Get a new spin on your workout from a husband-and-wife duo with a taste for fusion fitness.

The Scene
The regulars at this modest storefront are a mixture of competitive cyclists and middle-aged neighbors. The former come for pointers from world-class cyclist Kirk Whiteman; the latter, for wife Jenny Moye-Whiteman's easygoing approach to core muscle training. But whether you're downstairs on a stationary bike or upstairs working the reformer machinery, you'd be foolish not to sample each partner's complementary offerings--ideally through the invigorating Spinning-Pilates combo. Alexander technique and slide-board classes are also available.

The Workout
Whiteman, Indigo's star attraction, has been competing so long he can extract rpms from the music's beat. His song selection for Spinning classes shifts from funk to world beat. How good is the training? Two local cycling teams enlist his services during colder months. Meanwhile, Moye-Whiteman personalizes Pilates instruction with physio balls and therabands. Whoever you study with, you'll never get lost in a class that maxes out at 12 students.
