Clicky
by reallyfrombrooklyn
This place is clicky and overrated. I felt like an alien. No buybacks. I came in with some friends to hang out and they just snubbed us. They knew we were from the neighborhood so they just snubbed us. Owners and their regulars are all from out of state and treat us like aliens. Won't be going back again.
- Pros: it's local
- Cons: too much too list
Greatness in a Bar!
by asparagusschwartz
Pinball, great jukebox with Royal Trux and GBV, snacks, hot dogs, a TV for big sports games, DJ's sometimes, outside patio, Guinness Tap, booths to sit at, glasstop Galaga...what else do you want? Well, I have one small suggestion, cans of cheaper beer or high lifes for budget drinkers. Great place.
- Pros: juke, vibe, pinball
- Cons: fills up with people later, no cans of brew
Good Atmosphere
by arithmerock
The atmosphere at this bar is comfortable and the decor is unique. The crowd is also a little more relaxed than what you'd expect for Williamsburg. However, the staff is surprisingly rude. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I won't be rushing back to this bar to give them another chance.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Music
- Cons: Service
A laid-back Williamsburg bar to smooth out the edges.
by Karen Hudes
Comfortably distant from the Bedford Avenue throngs, this cabin-like neighborhood bar has a hearty rock-and-roll feel. There's plenty of seating--around the hand-built, semi-circular wood bar, in generously sized, curved booths and at choice tables by the fireplace in back. The room tends to be low-key, but occasionally packs an exuberant crowd; bartenders are chummy and serve at a leisurely pace. Entertainment includes the table-top Ms. Pacman/Galaga game, rotating pinball machines and a heady jukebox selection. The bar offers only a few specialty cocktails, including an unfortunately Kaopectate-like grasshopper, a bright but modestly sized margarita with Florida-shipped Key lime juice and a kick-ass, spicy Bloody Mary.
