Great Summer Spot. I came here over the summer and the waitress recommended we get prosecco, which she seved in chilled martini glasses. Amazing Brunch!. The Prix-fixed brunch is definately the best deal around. For $14 you get a nice sized plate of delicious food, coffee, and a bloody mary/mimosa/bellini. My favorite to pass a Saturday or Sunday morning is in the garden with the paper, great food and peach bellinis.

I go there for everything from loooking at the great art hanging on the walls, the un-beatable authentic Italian feel, the delicious happy hour drinks (of course!) and the warm, friendly Brooklyn neighborhood feel.…

happy hour yay. First time we strolled into Panino'teca was stricly for cheap booze purposes only. We went out back into the garden patio where a wonderful oasis of rustic picnic benches and crazy artsy bird houses awaited us. After our 4th mouth watering pomegranate martini (4 bucks), we were in love. We kept going back to eat and drink to our hearts delight until we've now almost had everything on the menu, delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! So much to choose!!. I must admit, I go to Panino'teca a bit too often. The amount of food you get for dishes especially like the prix-fixe is astounding. The lasagna....did I mention the lasagna? It's truly amazing. Beyond that, the happy hour is the cheapest I've found. $4 for a drink. Can't beat it. And all the after dinner drinks. If you have room for it, of course. That, and the servers always have a smile and actually seem to enjoy where they work. That's few and far between these days. The garden is really beautiful as well. It's nice to be able to get off the street for some shade and greenery. Congrats for your renovations too!!…

Great for nibbling!. The menu is divided up into several sections, and most of the dishes are smallish plates, like tapas. The good part is that I've never had a single bad dish here, ever. The bad part is that it's very easy to go overboard ordering little plates of everything! But if you can, be sure and save room for the best macaroni and cheese in the city. Their drinks menu is also terrific. One of my favorite places to take people in the neighborhood.…

Smith Street - Friday Night. Every Friday Night Toni & I dine on Smith Street. Last Friday was St. Patrick's Day and the local pub's were packed with people that had been drinking all day. We opted for happy hour at Panino'teca 275. Pom Cosmos for $4. We've been here so often over the years it's become our comfort food place. Highly recommend the bruscetta - all of them.…

A great neighborhood place!. I've been several times and was very satisfied each time. The food is wonderful, the service is friendly. Great inexpensive wines and specials and desserts! Re criticisms: I love the mushroom bruschetta, and definitely recommend. I think they are creminis, much more flavorful than buttons. And texture is a matter of preference; I like bruschetta crunchy. One disppointment was the cauliflower truffle bruschetta, which was bland; i think salt white pepper would do wonders.

My boyfriend and I go there and share stuff, and in the end the bill is always VERY reasonable, and we always leave full!

THey have an AMAZING eggplant/polenta torta thing that I can't go on enough about.

It is a great place to go have good food and wine and hang out and a casual, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere.…
