I had a pierce done by Lisa and is terrible, awful, really bad and cooked . Really though, be careful of getting pierced...especially cartilage piercings. You need someone who knows what they are doing and takes their job very seriously. If you have any doubt in your mind that a place is not sterile or sketchy, leave. The money you would save is much less than the amount you'll pay in medical bills.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: she don't how to pierce

I recently went to Kingdom to get my lastest body art. My friends recommended this place and were right to do so. I was impressed with the work they had done and was equally impressed with my results. My artist, Mike, was really cool. He took his time in positioning my tat so that it was perfect (he got down on his knees to make sure it aligned correctly, being that it was on my ankle). He explained what he was doing and was gentle when twisting my ankle. So if your market for new art or want to redo what you already have, I recommend Kingdom. P.S. should there be more than 1 Mike ask for "Shakey Mike".

I went there a few weeks ago with my friends for a nipple piercing. Jose was the piercer that night, and he was terrific. I was very nervous and he made me feel comfortable. Although i was reluctant to show my nipples to a complete stranger he was very proffessional and polite. I recommend him to anyone and everyone who needs or wants to have a piercing done. I have 15 piercings, and the ones he did were the best by far. If you do see him and he is slightly busy when you get there, give him a sec, it will be well worth the wait. I think his boss overworks him and some of his coworkers are doo doo heads, so be extra nice. Enjoy! New York is lucky to have a piercer like him, and so were my nipples : )

>>I went here a year ago to get my first tattoo. I was SO nervous. An artist named Mike did my tattoo. I got it on my upper thigh lower @$$. I had to lower my pants to do it so Mike offered to bring out a chinese room separator/shade so the people outside couldn't see me while I was getting it done. He also designed the tattoo for me perfectly, just by me describing what I wanted done. He sketched it & helped me decide where to put it. I wanted to put it somewhere that it wouldn't hurt, but he said get it where I would want it to be FOREVER. He said we could take breaks if I needed and talked me through the whole thing. Plus the place was sparkling clean!

I've had 2 tattoos done here. Different artists for each, but i was happy with the results of both. Their prices SEEM to be a little high- but the difference between a good tattoo and a bad one matters. each design i got was somewhat custom- and they were great with helping me place it. Ive also had a piercing done there once as well- its a pretty different piercing in a tough spot on my ear- and they were so gentle- iswear that i didnt know when they put the needle through. i would reccommed either artists- 'pierre' or 'haze' for a tattoo.

i bought my own jewely online, because i wasnt sure if i would find earrings i would like at kingdom tattoo.. and it only cost me 30$. when i first got there, this one guy was on the phone and tended to his phone call before he asked me what i wanted, despite me standing there waiting. ehh, whatever. then i was sent downstairs.. it is a very clean place, and my piercer was very nice and funny. he was also honest with how much the piercing would hurt. the problem is, he didn't tell me EVERYTHING about the piercing unless i asked him, such as healing time, etc. overall its a great place, but know what questions to ask.

Pros: price, nice piercer, clean

Cons: had to ask a few ?'s, guy on the phone

I have 3 tattoos now. Two of them from previous shops when I was younger and I have never seen a place be this clean and careful. Felt like there were so many choices for designs and all of the artists work seemed to be incredible. Would definitely go back when I am ready for my next tattoo.

Pros: clean, value, talented

I've been going to Kingdom for about 3 months now. All of the tattoo artists are amazing: Rob, Arnold, Russian Alex, Alex, Omar, Jen. If you want quality go to this guys, if you want quantity go to Brooklyn! :) For body piercing ask for Jay, Yvy, and/or Jose. They do the cheapest piercing around. Only $25! Kingdom stay open till 2am on Monday and Tuesdays and till 4am or 6am the rest of the week. If you can think it, they can ink it! If you can pinch it, they can pierce it!

Pros: Quality Not Quantity!, Best place in W4, Friendly Environment
