Completely Average

Had lunch with a friend who loves the brunch here. The crabcake appetizer I got was great, but my salad with grilled chicken wasn't. Her steak and eggs looked good, but I didn't try them. There are better place in the 'hood for the same prices.
Awesome brunch

I ate there today and it was excellent. Service was fine unlike other reviewers have posted. My fiance and I recommend the Mangu con huevos and the Tortilla with eggs, cheese, peppers chorizo (I forget what it is called.) Both of our meals were dynamite. I'm ready to return - the french toast ordered by the neighboring table looked mouthwatering!
- Pros: FOOD!
- Cons: none
Horrible, horrible, horrible service...avoid

Having lived in the neighborhood for over a year and seen the extra-long weekend lines, my boyfriend and I figured this would be a pretty good choice for Sunday brunch. After a 15 minute wait (not bad at all for a busy Sunday), we were seated...........and totally ignored for 1/2 hour by our waitress who was seen chattting with a friend and dancing at the end of the bar. After waiting...and waiting...and waiting for more than 30 minutes, we informed the host that we'd be leaving; he shrugged and didn't really seem to care.
- Pros: Garage door storefront means al fresco dining...assuming your waitress ever shows up
- Cons: Dancing waitresses, apathetic host/manager, really expensive-looking coffee (though I never actually got to drink any)
Pretentious Price for Mediocre Food

After reading all the great reviews about their cafe con leche and latin eggs benedict I was looking forward to brunching in the restaurant. Initial impressions satisfied- lots of people in a fun inviting atmosphere. First disappointment was the Mimosa, made with canned orange juice. Second was the cafe con leche- a weak, watery version of what it should be. And it was downhill from there. My poached eggs with a shrimp hashbrown underneath were cold, the hashbrown was obviously cooked way before and put ina microwave. My friend's Latin Eggs Benedict were also cold, tough and lacking flavor. A fried piece of potato that went with our meals was tough and rubbery. There was nothing redeeming about the food..I'm now curious who wrote all the good reviews about it..hmm...
- Pros: fun ambience
- Cons: bad food, bad coffee
A Park Slope fav!

Brunch and dinner are both great at this casual, authentic, friendly garage-door restaurant. The food is delicious and the people who work there are just cool people. (I just hope they get the AC pumpin' a little stronger soon!)
Slow brunch service but yummy food!

I keep returning to this spot for their brunch menu. I love the Latin Eggs Benedict and on the rare occasion that I deviate from that, I get the very tasty salmon omelette. They make a great Cafe con Leche, and their brunch cocktails are good too. The only downside to this spot is they seem horribly under-staffed. It can take a very long time to get your order and similarly, you'll be waiting a while for the check too. Another reviewer pointed out the the wait staff is usually stoned, which seems to be the case most of the time. But! They are very friendly and the food definitely keeps me coming back for brunch. Don't go if you are in a hurry...
- Pros: yummy brunch, bright atmosphere, friendly staff
- Cons: slow service, understaffed
Different and yummy, great for brunch

Great brunch spot. The brunch cooks will always honor a vegetarian request (say to substitute ham for spinach in an egg dish) and the pancakes are killer. Make sure your waiter brings you all the things that come with your brunch, including juice and coffee. The cactus juice is an experience, too! Love the painted murals and the colorful atmosphere. Haven't been for dinner, but it looks less veg-friendly.
- Pros: great brunch
- Cons: can be crowded

I think this place is great. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, and the service is great. It is a nice place to eat brunch but the dinner is awesome too! Also, they are available for private parties. I threw one there and everyone was telling how cool the place looked and how tasty the food was. Go there!
Good food; Be patient, and it will be worthwhile

After about a 20 minute wait (not bad for Sundy at 12:30), we were seated and served very quickly. The food was excellent (I had the french toast, my companion had the quesadillas), the coffee good, and the wait staff friendly and attentive. Until it was time to get the check. But by then we were satisfied from the meal so it was ok, although it could explain the slower-than-necessary turnover. Overall, the noshing patrons all seemed pleased with their meals. Recommend it on a nice day where it's ok to wait outside, especially if you're already in Park Slope.
- Pros: good food, many choices, quick food service
- Cons: wait time, slow getting check
Dont believe the hype

Everyone tells us this is their "favorite" place for brunch, so we were excited to try it. We went one time and didnt have a good experience (the food and service was sub par), so we just thought it was just an off-day on their part, and went back again. Now... never again - its just not good! Save your money and go somewhere else... theres plenty of other joints in the hood.
- Pros: looks cute, location
- Cons: slow service, long lines on weekend, tons of kids
