The Clinton Hill stretch of Fulton Street is now home to The Wallace, the latest restaurant from Jon Wallace of Thistle Hill Tavern and Buttermilk Channel. The menu’s main focus is seasonal American, but without the outrageous prices ubiquitous in New York. For the fall, you should check out the scallops with sauteed leeks and fig gastrique or the butternut squash risotto. The Wallace is also open for casual brunching with the nearly unheard-of “coffee included” menu feature.
