Friendly Service

This is an Irish dive located steps away from the Q train stop in Park Slope. The staff is very friendly and the beer is cheap ($3.50 for a bottle of Coors Light) and cold. They have a trivia machine, darts and a jukebox although the selection is limited. There are 3 tv's throughout the bars but none are that big and look like they've been around a while. It draws an older clientele. Good place to spend a weekend afternoon.
- Pros: Service
Great hang

Mooney's is one of the friendliest bars I have ever frequented. The clientele is extremely eclectic, the jukebox full of great music, and the bartenders have a heavy hand. Stop in! This is a great place to hang out. Check your 'tude at the door.
- Pros: Cheap, Bartenders, Mr. Mooney
Neighborhood Bar

This is not the place to meet people. This bar is definitely a neighborhood bar with a friendly staff. Everyone there is already with someone or just haning out there with familiar faces. Unfamiliar faces are welcomed but don't be disappointed if you are looking for a hookup and look around and see that everyone is taken. The bar selection is well stock with the exception of Remy Martin and be careful if you want an Apple Martini... they do not use Vodka at all to make this well known drink. Dartboard in the back which is great if you are a good to great player otherwise the bar team and other dartplayers from this bar will try and take over the board or want you to play "next", you cannot play with your crew alone or your date for more than 1 game. They get impatient.
- Pros: Jukebox good music, Dartboard, Friendly Staff
- Cons: No Dancing, Apple Mart. sucks, No Finger Food
