I like how they have open bar and loads of food that's keep coming on and on. You would never get starve in this place. The dessert was amazing good! Tons of dessert. Love it! I am sure i would like to have my wedding here also.
Gourmet food and wonderful service.. Had my glorious wedding 2 weeks ago at Temple Beth El. Adam was excellent to work with. He gave us so many extras - Ice Carvings/Chocolate Fountains/Tropical fruit displays/Jumbo Sushi Bars and delicious top quality food, the best and more. WHAT GREAT SERVICE!!! We had a 6 hour party. We needed another half hour and HE DID NOT CHARGE US. The owner conducts a wonderful business. I recommend him highly for any type of party.
Big talker worse service ever..
Adam is a big talker and money hungry his staff people does not speak English so you can't communicate with them the service is horrible!! DO NOT BOOK YOUR AFFAIR WITH ADAM!! he will make you miserable
I had my son's Bar Mitzvah there last month and oh gosh he was running after me for lousy $400 that I already paid him! he made me pay the tips twice!!!
The only good thing I can say is that the food was good.
BEST venue for a Jewish wedding in Brooklyn!.
Adam and his crew at Beth El made our wedding the most magical experience for a really good price. Below are the responses of some guests in the wedding:
"Wedding of the Year!"
"Did the wedding cost $60,000?" (totally off- but Adam definitely made it seem this way)
"A 100,000 wedding!"
"I should have had my wedding here..."
"The dessert bar was like a museum!" (said by a pasties chef)
"The waiters and staff were very courteous and pleasant"
"So much gourmet food".
Adam went above and beyond what we paid him for and threw-in extra stuff, a pair of doves, beautiful decor. We are lucky to have been in his hands!
TERRIBLE venue for a wedding!.
DO NOT have your wedding at this place. I had my wedding there in 2006, the owner/manager at the time was Adam, if he is still there turn around and run! He seemed great and friendly at first. I had my wedding in July it was about 90 degrees that day, the air-conditioning was NOT working anywhere within the building (oh, except for Adam's office, he was quite comfortable I'm sure).
My husband was standing at the huppa with sweat pouring down his face. All of my guests were sweaty and could barely stand being there. The wedding was a disaster because of the lack of air conditioning. When I came into Adam's office and started begging him to do something he refused, and didn't even offer an apology. My uncle tried to reason with him and nothing worked. Finally my uncle said that he should refund at least some of the money since the air conditioning was not functioning, he said "Sure, but it will come off of your desert table". Meaning that if he gives me some money back he won't bring out the desert buffet.
On top of the lack of air conditioning, the service was poor and the food was terrible as well. The leftover food they gave us to take wasn't even cooked! They gave us raw food!
The cherry on top of the cake was that the valet drivers destroyed my cousin's car. He managed to get into an accident while making a u-turn on a nearly empty street. My cousin ending up driving home with his bumper in the trunk.
My wedding was a disaster thanks to Temple Beth El. My only regret (besides picking Temple Beth El) was that I didn't sue them.
FYI, the only reason "Sunflower Studios" is saying that Temple Beth El is a great place is because they are one of his vendors. He will only let you work with specific vendors which he claims is for insurance reasons, but really it's because they give him a cut for referring people.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Wonderful Wedding Venue. This is such a nice wedding venue and the service is amazing!
