I have been going to Ginger Rose for 26 years. My entire life and in that 26 years I have been using Jack as my Barber. After Hurricane Sandy all the top cutter's left Only 2 remain. Jack my barber is now working at the barber shop on the corner of ocean ave and ave z he is their friday-sunday

Worst Salon Experience Ever. When I arrived at Ginger Rose, I asked if itd be okay for me to get a blowout. The wash man said okay and rushed me to the sink, almost slammed my head against the sink. He washed my hair poorly, getting my clothes wet and leaving soap residue on my face. When I sat down in the waiting area, I waited thirty minutes for someone to take me. The woman who took me had an unpleased look on her face. She didnt ask me if I wanted it curly or straight and simply began the service assuming I wanted it straight. I watched as she painfully dealt with my hair. When she was finished, my hair was all frizzy and looked worse than when I had first arrived. For her finishing touch, she poured half a bottle of hair serum to make it look better than it was. It was a complete nightmare. Ive been to many salons and have never been treated so poorly. On top of it all, it cost me $30 for my hair which was of short length and wasnt hard to manage. Beware!
