“Romantic, fun, and not expensive for the quality of food you are getting and cheapest good resturant in the area.”
“What I love, and what may not apeal to those that are hard core authentic thai food fans, is that they have the best italian deserts.”
“Since then we have gotten delivery twice, which was prompt and the food was just as good.”
“used to be a Planet Thai addictt (out in Willamsburg) and ever since it got shut down for a few days by the Health Dept i have been searching for a new good Thai place in Bk and now I've got one.”

Great Food, and Delivery!.
We love Siam Orchid. Not only was the food and wait staff fantastic the first time we went, but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day. Generous portions for the cost as well.
Since then we have gotten delivery twice, which was prompt and the food was just as good. We will be going back on Saturday for a date night to see what it's like inside!
Excellent food and service. We absolutely love this place because the food is really great! Even though we are regulars we found Siam Basil Fried Rice a tasty surprise. We rate their Pad Thai the best in Brooklyn! Friendly and helpful staff that understands and speaks good English.
yes worth it.
Our party of seven was seated immediately at 7:15 PM on a Friday night but I noticed that the "Orchid" filled up within an hour.
All dishes were very tasty. Nothing over cooked, greasy, too salty. Someone in that kitchen knows what they are doing.
Service was very attentive worthy of a greater than twenty percent tip.
Prices most agreeable. Say hello to the doofy waiter.
Best Thai in Brooklyn. I stumbled upon Siam accidentally while walking in the area and was so amazed by the food and the prices. I used to be a Planet Thai addictt (out in Willamsburg) and ever since it got shut down for a few days by the Health Dept i have been searching for a new good Thai place in Bk and now I've got one. Their fried rice dishes are tastsy, spring rolls are good and most noodle dishes are too. Haven't tried the curry but people around me look like they enjoy it. The service isn't that great but like everyone says, it's typical of the area and furthermore what do you expect when you're entire meal is 20 dollars? I'm going back soon.
Amazing Thai food!. I have been going to this restaurant since it opened and agree with others that food there is superb. In the summer, we go there once a week. The Sam Sahai, a trio of beef, chicken and shrimp is delicious. Their beef satay is so soft that my kids, ages 9 and 5 love it. We end up ordering 3 portions of this appetizer alone because kids eat two of them. As for the service, we are regulars, so we always get a good service even when it's very busy. There are a few waiters who have known kids since birth and they always joke with them, bring them little souvenirs, etc. But even if you are not a regular, this is a great Thai place. Of course, you can go to the city to one of the famous authentic Thai places and rave about how great they are, but trust me, if you are in Brooklyn, this place is fantastic.
Best Thai, in Brooklyn, maybe even in the whole City!.
The best Thai food I've ever had, it has a this urban thai atomosphere with a waterfront view of the bay. So very cool. Romantic, fun, and not expensive for the quality of food you are getting and cheapest good resturant in the area. Service could be helped, but its not atypical of resturants in the area. Seems to be a lack of waiters when the place is packed. Big portions each regular meal is enough for 2. Best time to come is off-peak where you can get the full attention of the waiters and great recomendations.
What I love, and what may not apeal to those that are hard core authentic thai food fans, is that they have the best italian deserts. Tiramisu cake thing is to die for, better than any Tiramisu in the nearby Italian resturants. They also have custard and coconut milk desert delites for those who like to keep it authentic.
Delicious Thai food. I have been going to this restaurant for years and the food is consistently delicious. My favorite dishes are their fishballs appetizer, their basil dishes, and their seafood chef specials, especially the squid in chili sauce and seafood and noodles in oyster sauce.
Great Thai Food!. Best Thai food in Brooklyn, hands down -- make sure you try the Mee Krob appetizer. The sauces are great, especially the red curry. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes are great, overall a great meal very time -- highly recommended!
