Completely honest and affordable. This
is my second time using Econo-Sewer, after having a very good first experience with Ed. We called on Christmas Holiday weekend where Ed immediately picked up, promising to come to the house next day, on a SUNDAY, day before Xmas eve. That Ed provided rapid expert service on a holiday schedule, and at no extra charge, made me want to give 10 stars here. We were extremely happy and grateful to have the second toilet working again for our overnight guests arriving from out of town to celebrate with us..
These guys are terrific. Very professional, neat and courteous. and Ed- if you happen to read this- YOU THE MAN! thank you once again. i hug you.
Great Professionals.
The staff are professional. They come on time. The owner is one good guy. He tries to make it right if you're not happy.
Go with them.
Wonderful Service. I got in touch with this plumbing company today which is a Sunday and I had a plumber at my door within less then 40 minutes. He was very pleasant, did his job, explained to me what was going on, suggested some ideas that should take place and the price was great! I am so happy that I used this company. If ever I need a plumber again, I will use this company!
Stand Up Guy. Had an issue with their service, spoke to the owner, and he appears to want to do make things right.
The problem with this job is an illegal connection for a basement bathroom into a storm sewer. The basement shower can not be connected to the roof drain in such a close proximity to the drain on the roof. During flash floods water will seek the path of least resistance on escape from the shower in the basement. Specials on line must be mentioned and will be honored.

Good service, could be better. The serviceman was 10 mins. late, but called to warn me. Upon arrival, he asked me a couple of questions and just proceeded to get to work, without explaining anything. He also seemed to be in a bad mood. I tried asking some questions but got curt answers. While cleaning out my sewer line, he showed me the roots that he encountered and recommended a higher level service that he mentioned a few more times, without being too pushy. When he finished, I asked a few more questions, trying to get him to warm up a bit. He felt better after I let him wash up in the sink. He explained that he was just tired. The job was done, but he could have cleaned up better and been more explanatory in what he was doing. He also broke a sewer cap that I didn't think he needed to since he didn't bother trying to unscrew it. He told me people just force them on anyway, which I don't think I did. So that cost me a trip to Home Depot and $7. I would still use them again.
Stop looking, this is the one to call..
These guys were the best. They showed up on time. They explained various techniques that they could use. They discussed the prices of those options. Then they went to work. And I do mean work.
The blocked pipe was the leader that takes the runoff from the gutters. It goes through the foundation wall of the house and then under the basement floor and out to the sewer. I'd tried cleaning it out myself and I knew this thing was packed solid. That was why I called for help.
The Econo Sewer guys gave this thing with everything they had. They managed to find the trap in the basement that nobody else could find. Working from both ends of the pipe they used the snake, the water jet and a lot of just plain muscle to blast the blockage. After about an hour there was an eruption of gravel, mud, pebbles and God knows what else out of the pipe. The block was gone and water was running freely through.
I opted to have the video camera put down the pipe to have a good look. In spite of the fact that the pipe was now clear enough to do the job there were still a few rocks down there. Without the video there was no way to detect them so I'm glad I chose to do it.
The guys set to work again. I'm talking about a guy on his knees on my basement floor with his arm up to the shoulder in a drain pipe pulling stones out of there.
After another hour they sent the camera down again. That pipe was as clean as a newborns conscience.
Everybody was happy. They cleaned up after themselves, packed the tools away and they were gone.

Happily, I don't have a lot of experience with this kind of work so it's hard to judge the cost. I can tell you that I have not had a moments regret that I called Econo Sewer. I feel I got a good job at a reasonable price and I highly recommend this company.
Really nice guy!. My problem is a broken garbage disposal, which this guy doesn't repair. He's strictly a line cloggage guy - which apparently was the problem in the case of the aspargus review. I'm writing this review because he was so nice on the phone. Anybody else would have said, "sorry, don't do that" and hung up. But this man stayed on the line to listen to the details of my problem and help me figure out the appropriate place to call. Thanks again.
Econo Sewer. Extremely competent and friendly service. We live in an old brownstone in Park Slope. When we bought the house, we were told that there was no main housetrap and that this was a problem. Econo Sewear came out, explained everything they were doing in a very friendly, knowledgeable manner. They ran a machine through the piping system and explained to a non-plumber what was happening, that they weren't finding a trap. Handled the digging, brought in another man to help us out, and ultimately resolved the riddle. We couldn't be more satisfied with their service.
Best Plumber. Great Service - Work done fast and with quality, all modern equipment. If you want a great plumbing / drainage cleaning call this company.
Reliable, reasonable, clean and friendly plumber -- is that an oxymoron!!!. For years we have been experiencing problems with our basement bathroom backing up. It always seemed to happen at the worst time. We called in many plumbers who cleaned out our line and told us we were "good" and should not have anymore problems. But that was not the case!! I can't tell you how much it has cost with money but the time and aggravation was the biggest expense. We called EcoSewer expecting to get the same results but alias we were pleasantly surprised. They came down with a video-camera checked the line and found the problem. Tree-roots, sand, oil and grease and the like were the culprits. They left and returned a 1/2 later with the water jet cleaner and they clean out everything. They put the camera back in the line to show me how it looked after they finished the job. They recorderd the entire process on video tape to show my husband. It took 2 1/2 hours and cost $450. Well worth it. I wished I had called them first!!
