Excellent Customer Service. I am surprised to see the review below because I came here to share a positive review about this Brooklyn Company. From start to finish this company did a great job.

The company is a family owned business. The owner, Mr. K. is very experienced and comes to check the job. Then he sends out his brother-in-law to do the measurements. You get the personal treatment that family-run places deliver.

Finally, they came to install the awning and the installation went perfectly.

Todd was professional and friendly. When you invite someone into your home to do work, you want someone like these men. They were reliable and hardworking. I highly recommend them.

Avoid at all costs!!!. The most all encompassing phrase I can use to describe this company is "clown shoes." It seems to be a rag tag operation held together by gum and safety pins. They failed me in every aspect you would look for in hiring a company to do professional work in their area of expertise.

They did not keep appointments, instead showed up unannounced. The job done by Todd was not proper and also incomplete. When I brought the errors to their attention, which were legit problems, they instead tried to tell me why it was OK even though I knew it was wrong and it was not what I paid for.

Contacting the company became a problem after that because I could only get the secretary. Messages were not returned and getting them to complete the job that I paid for was clearly not in National Awning's plans.

Finally, when I personally went to their offices I could see that this was a gypsy operation basically being run out of a suitcase.

I deal with a lot of professional contractors in various areas in my line of work so please feel free to put some stock in my opinion. Make your hard earned money work for you and get someone who cares about doing the job in a workmanlike manner and has a grasp on how to serve a good paying customer.
