Best Steak Ever!!!. I love eating in the Floridian Dinner. One of the best meals I ordered there was the flame broiled steak, garden salad, french fries, & fried calamari..Topped it off with a root beer, vanilla soda float!!! I can't wait to get back there...really enjoyed eating there.

DON'T EAT HERE!. last night, I ordered a daily 'special' dinner described as pasta with grilled chicken. the chicken arrived sauteed in a coating of heav oil. When I mentioned it to the waitress, the owner came over to ask about what the problem was. Instead of apologizing , he told me that no one else complained about the difference. Since when is it a complaint when a diner doesn't receive what the menu describes? His attitude was horrible and so was the food. Maybe that explains why the place was virtually empty!!

Best Panini Ever. Went there a few days ago with my wife.

I had the steak panini and she had the vegetarian panini. They were really huge and tasted great!

The cheesecake can compare with Juniors!

Prices were normal for a dinner. Will go again.

dissappointed. I hear they wanna tare down this palce in teh future to make condominiums. I live near here. Not the best area. There are much better diners nearby I'd take anyday over this one. Once I found a dead fly in my salad. Now everytime I'm there the salad comes back to haunt me.

The Dinner Store. My Granddaughter asked if we could go to the ?Dinner Store?. I thought that was funny. She meant the New Floridian Diner. I realized just about then that I used to take my kids there when they were the same age as her. They are as much a part of the family as my relations, maybe more than some of them. The food is absolutely the best in Brooklyn; it doesn?t matter if you are in the mood for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a snack after the movies, cheesecake, Ahhhhh. You are always greeted as a long lost friend. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and welcoming. From time to time, a cook has even stopped by, in passing, to ask if we liked our meal. You would be hard pressed to find more accommodating manager or owners. There are staffers that are working there for over 25 years. That signals to me that they have pride in the establishment and care about the well-being of the patrons. The portions are huge the food is luscious. My favorite is the broiled filet of lemon sole for dinner, steak and eggs for breakfast. Lunch varies; I check the daily special menu. My Granddaughter votes for Chicken Fingers and French Fries (of course) or the Belgium Waffles with fresh Strawberries. Don?t forget Thursday means Homemade Pea Soup!!! YUM, YUM

See you at the Floridian; I?ll be the one wearing the biggest smile.

Grandma's treat !!! Great choices of menu, large quantities of tasty food. Nice place to be with friends and family. Great and unsuffocating service. Price is good.. My friend was working around the area and decided to have lunch at the restaurant. Thereafter, he felt I would love the place and took me there. I enjoyed both the food and the hospitality so much that I take my friends there as a treat. They in turn take their friends there. The food is delicious and the quantities, enormous. The different dishes are so much that customers always go home with left over. We usually eat our left over the whole day following the visit. My favorite day at the diner is Friday, the day for the lobster bisque soup. Moreover, I am off on Saturdays and so won't be in a hurry to leave. The waiters are serviceable and courteous, especially the females. I do not find the males as goods. New Floridian is a place to indulge oneself. Do not fail to try it out. The only problem is that you may become addicted to their sumptuous meals. Try their salmon primavera with rice. You may top the cream by going with a few quarters, so as to play some music, while having dinner. The prices are highly competitive. Sometimes, customers do get free addition for sampling. Eating at the dinner is like eating at a grandma's, so much of the goodies to eat. ....Bon appetite

This is a diner?. Excellent menu choices. Surprising for a diner. Perfect for late night or brunch. Waffles at 2am, how 'bout canadian bacon or corned beef? Maybe a steak... Try it you will like it.

My favorite diner to have dinner. I love eating dinner at the Floridian. The appetizers, which include beets, cold beans, and waldorf salad, are extremely fresh and crisp. The included soup is hot, and the salad is fresh and crispy. The bread is almost always hot and abundant. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and keep enough distance so you can enjoy your meal and take your time. We're big eaters in my family and yet we always have leftovers to bring home from the dinner special...not that we mind. :)
