good food. Some of the best chinese food outside of China Town. I am so glad they came to our neighborhood! The favorites are the Moo Shu arriving at the table already folded for you. The double pan fried noodles are delicious as is the Indian Massala appetizer. The presentation of the beef lettuce wraps in a martini glass is a delightful surprise as is the flavor. The carry out is quick and packaged appropriately. The warm washcloth at the beginning of the meal is a very nice touch. The lunch specials are a great deal and you won't need dinner that night.

The Best Chinese Restaurant. We live on Staten Island and whenever we want great Chinese food it's over the bridge to China New Star. From the fresh egg rolls, to the best duck sauce and real Broolyn Chicken Chow Mein, you just can't go wrong with anything you order there. It's clean, service is good, nice neighborhood, convenient to the belt parkway, etc.

We make the trip several times a year, just for great Chinese food. Highly recommended.

Hands Down BEST Chinese Resataurant anywhere!. I grew up in Brooklyn, and lived in the city for 20 years. China New Star is absolutely the best Chinese restaurant anywhere. The ribs are the meatiest, tastiest and most tender. Every dish is cooked perfectly. Portions are huge, prices extremely reasonable. My mother lives in Marine Park and every time I visit I make her come with me to China New Star. Whoever has not experienced this restaurant is missing out big time!

Gourmet Cooking Chinese-American Style Asian Dinner. I come with my parents. They love the lobsters and the lunch/dinner specials. This place doesn't have many people at breakfast time. they don't serve coffee, but great Ice Cream, Pineapple, and Fortune Cokies (even chocolate) for desert. The wators do expect great tips. Candies are also given too optional.

FILTHY DIRTY RESTAURANT. . This place has gone way downhill. Its a crying shame what happend to this place. We ate there on Saturday night and there were insects crawling everywhere, we even found a large one in our pepper steak. It was absolutely disgusting. When we alerted the owner he said , "What do you want me to do"? We told him to take it off the bill and we were leaving. He immediately got annoyed and attempted to charge us for our soup and eggroll which we had already begun eating. How pathetic and mercenary is that? Needless to say we left and will never go back there. The food is loaded with salt and MSG anyway and lots of oily greasy dishes that are sure to clog your arteries.

Best Chinese Food Ever!. China New Star is a hidden gem in a non-trendy part of Brooklyn and heads don't know how damn good it is. Everything about this place is great. The General Tso's chicken is unlike any other. The meat is always high quality and the veggies are top notch. Their wonton soup is out of this world. Plus the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Once word gets out about this place it is going to become famous!
