Honestly do not waste your time here unless you love stress in your life.
My wedding day is March 9th 2012 however to play it on the safe side, we told them March 1st is the day.
We told them that we will be leaving on Feb.28th since the wedding is in Jamaica. The bridesmaid dresses were picked out & paid for on the 1st week of Oct. 2011.
Nobody from LESTAN's contacted my bridesmaids, we had to call them every 3 days to check on the dresses.
We went to the shop to show face & to see what the HELL is going on & the manager was such a rude old lady!! She had the nerve to tell me I should have told them Feb 28th as the day & not March 1st!!!
I told her if my dresses aren't in by the 27th, I want a full refund & I will see her in court!!!
Thank God our real date is March 9th but still my bridesmaids work & go to school so they dont have time to drop everything at the last minute due to LESTAN'S
lack of customer service...
Dont shop there!

The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!. Lestan's is by far the worst business ever. They think that they can treat their customers like crap and get away with it. The manager yelled at me because they did not explain their deposit policy to me. They accepted my initial deposit and now they are requesting more money even though the contract says the balance has to be paid when the dress arrives at the store. They don't even have the dress in the store and they want more money. All they do is play games with brides when this is the most important day of a women's life. TO ALL FUTURE BRIDES OUT THERE....DON'T SHOP AT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT NON STOP STRESS AND NO PEACE OF MIND!
Lestan's THE WORST. My daughter was the most easy going bride. We went back for several fittings up until the day before the wedding. They messed up the beading, and the bust of the dress didn't fit well. My daugher said " I'll take it, I don't have much of a choice and you wouldn't be able to see it from the brooklyn bridge":) She is really as UNbridezilla as one could be. What totally infuriated us and pushed me to write this review was, even though we paid for the dress in full, Lestan would not release the dress until we signed a form saying everything was perfect. This store is disgusting.
HAPPY CUSTOMER. Buying a dress at Lestan was a wonderful experience. First of all, the service was fantastic. All the ladies who work here are friendly and sweet. They immediately put me at ease, as buying a dress can be nerve-wracking.. Not only are they kind but they are very patient and they are willing to work with you to get you the exact dress you are looking for in style, color, and price range. The seamstress does really top-notch work, and keeps working on your dress until you are satisfied. Might I add, that the store hours are very convenient for someone who works during the day, as they are open late into the evening. Altogether, my shopping experience at Lestan was wonderful from the moment I walked in to get ideas, to the moment I left the store with the beautiful dress of my choice. It is so important to be comfortable when you are buying a dress. That's why I owe my thanks to the friendly and kind women who work at Lestan, and that's why I recommed this store to anyone who needs a dress for any fancy occassion!
THE worst!. I'm currently living overseas, so after getting engaged, I went online to find a wedding gown. I came across Lestan Bridals. I emailed them and enquired whether they would be able to deliver a gown I had seen on their website, to Taipei, Taiwan. They assured me, that yes they would be able to deliver it - in 3 months. I placed the order, and hoped for the best. The first clue to the awful service was that I had to email them to get an order no and delivery date...and even then it took more than a week to get back to me. Finally! Eva from Lestan replied via email that I would be receiving my gown around Jan. 20, 2011. Jan. 22 I still had not received any gown, nor an email from Lestan explaining as to the reason for the delay. I finally phoned them, from Taipei! They were very rude on the phone, and at 1st didn't even have any recollection of the order # after I quoted it. After finding my order, I was informed by Tammy, that they are still waiting for the dress from the designer, and that it should arrive within 10 days. I emailed them after 10 days, got no reply. I emailed them twice more, still no reply. Finally I phoned them, again! and was informed that they still haven't received my gown. My problem with this is - why not just send the customer an email and inform them of any delays, instead I had to email/ phone them?! We finally received an email on Feb 11 that they had received the gown, but that we had to make arrangements for it to be delivered to Taipei. What? After complaining to Tammy, she told us that they would ship the gown to us, so she'll need credit card details. The quote she gave us for shipping was double what it should have been. We decided to just have the gown shipped to my future in-laws in NC, and have them ship it to Taipei, at least then we won't be over charged. As of today, my gown is on route to Taipei, and should be arriving next week, that makes it more than a month delayed after the delivery date Lestan assured me it would arrive here. I will NEVER buy anything from Lestan again, they are rude, and have 0 customer service! Nor would I recommend them to anyone. They are not "professional in every sense of the word" as stated on their website.
Are they still open?. Not a review, but a question. I drove by the other day and saw a "For Rent" sign on their window. Are they still there? Did they move? Thanks.
Every brides DREAM. My experience from beginning to end was amazing and very personal. the whole staff made me feel as if i was a family member. they made my wedding dreams come true and then some. from the sames assoociates to the seamstresses, they all made me feel so special. i would not changea thing. I am forever humber and freatful for everything the ladies did for my girls and i. thank you VERY VERY much!!!!!
RUN in the other direction. This is the worst most dingy place I have ever been. I live in brooklyn and wanted a Maggie sottero dress. I called the store asked if the dress was available for fitting. I was told yes and made an appointment.After taking the day off and getting all my family to come when i got there, the lady told me she never told me the dress was there and that she told me it would be there in two weeks...if in fact she told me that why would she make an appointment for me to come fit a non-existent dress. I was so mad!...if you consider going here I would reconsider the service is terrible and the sales people are rude! she had the nerve to stand there and argue with me even though she know she lied!

Im the type of person who is very picky about buying dresses but, the "Lestan Girls," took away my anxiety. As soon as i described the types of dresses i was interested in, I was shown several gorgeous dresses which looked amazing on me, even with my picky taste. Although i just walked into Lestan to look, i bought my dress without even a second thought. I wasnt pressured of forced to buy the dress which was very delightful. My dress arrived IMMEDIATLEY and the seamstress did a phenomenal job on my alterations. The staff at the desk were very accommodating and helpful when they made my fitting appointments. I would definitley, without the slightest doubt, buy ALLLLLL of my dressed at Lestan Fashion Headquarters from now on. I would recommend 150%. I am a VERY satisfied customer!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHINGGG!! i am truly greatful. From the moment i walked in, everyone was willing and ready to help me find my perfect dress. All of the ladies were very very nice and friendly. i felt the sincerity in the atmosphere. the dresses in LFH are some of the most beautiful dresses ive ever seen in my life. The staff there is extremely knowledgeable about their dresses. From the minute i told the ladies what i wanted, they knew exactly what i described. When i found the perfect dress, i ordered it and it literally came in the blink of an eye. My experience at Lestans Fashion Headquarters was nothing short of amazing. Because of Tammy and the rest of the Lestans staff, my special day was perfect and i couldnt be any happier.
