worst.experience.ever.. I wish i could hit "no stars". First off the lease was negotiated twice, they wanted six months rent because the renters were students (even though we co-signed up the wazoo as parents) then we said no because it was not legal (one parent is an attorney). So Carmela Palmer came back and said 3 months. We said that is not legal, we will give first and last and a security deposit. It came done to that fact that we did not trust her. Then she called my daughter a retard, when I asked about this she said she never said such a thing, BUT then told me my daughter is "bi polar". I asked for our $1700. back and I told her I was going to contact the head office, she said "Good luck to that" and hung up on me. SKETCHY. MEAN. CONDESCENDING. and really is it that great for a company like Rapid Realty to have someone that hangs up on people, calls people names and talks to them like they are idiots that just crawled out of the primordial ooze? I think not.…

There are some good agents. In my apartment search, I encountered 4 Rapid NYC agents. Agent # 1: never had anything i my price range. Agent #2: he was ok. followed up a few weeks later to see if I was still looking. Agent # 3: The worst! She scheduled to show me 2 apartments. The 1st apartment she couldnt get into the apartment. After calling to see why the keys werent working, come to find out the apartment was already rented. Then to the next apartment. It was the worst thing I had ever seen. The hall way was dirty, worn down, and unsafe. Then we see the actual apartment. It was suppose to be a 2 bedroom. The rooms were the size of a walk in closet. There was a 1 foot gap between the stove and sink. If I was pregant I would not be able to wask dishes b/c I would not fit into the space. The third apartment was better but you can tell the owner did quick fix job just to try to rent the space. Every room you walked in made noise.

Agent #4: Juan Roman, he was great! I didn't know he was from Rapid when I first contacted him which is a good thing b/c I probably would not have bothered. He was flexible on the times and days he showed the apartment. He worked really hard to find me an apartment. He knew the neighborhood I was interested in well. He showed me many apartments. I would say between 10-15 apartments. Many differnt set ups, sizes, all within the price range. He did try to find what I really wanted. He always showed a few apartments any we met. He took into consideration what I liked and didnt like from each place I saw. I did ended up seeing a place but I didnt like the price. I put in an offer but the owner rejeted it. In the end I found a place on my own. It was a pleasure working with Juan. He does his job as an agent and tries to find you the place you are looking for.…

NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL USE THEM AGAIN. We would give them NO STAR if its possible. We have asked them to rent the place for us. We told them all the details. But they changed the content of the contract, without notifying us. Of course, we have to take some responsibly for not reading the contract. We then call the broker, he said "It is what it is on the contract. We got set up.

Unacceptible. I don't understand why realtors do this! Why lie? Do they ever get anything out of this? I contacted Sarah Rosenberg and scheduled a viewing. Just as I arrived at the location she said it was already rented and suggested I see another apartment. Really? Does she think I'm an idiot? Who schedules an appointment when they are so close to signing? I confirmed just 50 minutes before I went down there and she didn't mention any of this. I don't believe she is that incompetent, I just don't believe that apartment ever existed.…
