What happened?. I've been relying on them for years. Never again. It was a small thing, a new gasket for my old blender jar, but it never got done, another story each time I asked, Six weeks of a runaround. Enough!

Thieves and con artists. So you read countless reviews, are referred by service magic and than..disaster. You get somebody from Expert center and they do a absolute shoddy installation job on an over the range microwave which should be the simplest thing in the world and THEY SCREW IT UP. Not only that but when you point it out they tell you that it will cost extra to fix the "screw up". Please take my sincere advice, and get somebody else. Its not even a matter of money bcuz they are charging market rates and no less, so really go out and get somebody else from a reputable place like Sears, homedepot, best buy or others for installation and repair so in case something goes wrong, you have some recourse and perhaps a refund. With these guys you will only be looking to pay more at the end of the day.

Love this Place. I love the guy who owns this place. I use him as a sort of appliance consultant because he will tell you exactly what brand appliance to buy for anything. He's smart and chuck full of honest and priceless information. Plus he knows everything about my Miele vacumn cleaner. His prices on Miele vacumn bags are even cheaper than on Amazon.

Efficient and Professional. I've used Expert Center for both purchases (washer/dryer, humidifier, vacuum) and services (appliance repairs) and find them to be professional in every respect. The appliances they sell are top-notch, and they have partners who can install them without damaging your apartment. They don't upsell -- if you tell them your budget, they'll tell you what matches it, and also whether it's worth it to buy extended coverage based on the product line's history (they told me not to bother on one of the purchases I made, even though their profit margin on extended coverage is significant). Needless to say, I like the business and the people who work there, and am pretty surprised by some of the negative reviews. I highly recommend Expert Repair (and they're aptly named)!

if there were a negative star I would use it. I requested a repair on a stove exhaust fan in February 2007 and made an initial payment at the time. In August 2009 and $660.00 later ithe stove still hasn't been repaired properly (the latest was that I discovered, in the middle of a dinner party that they had secured the exhaust pipe - for a HOT stove - with electrical duct tape!! so the pipe disconnected at both the stove and the wall). It also took them 5 attempts to not completely fix the stove. This company is anything but "Expert". If you do decide to use them, take note: they always ask for a deposit for 'parts'. The challenge is then trying to get them back, and if they do they may ask for more money each time.

You've got the address wrong. They've moved across the street to 293, I am typing needlessly -- because you requite 100 characters.

Efficient but expensive. We've used Expert Center for a number of household electrical repairs over the last 18 months and would summarize the experiences as being fast, efficient but expensive. They will send someone quickly and they generally arrive on time but there doesn't seem to be any set formula for how the labor fees are calculated.

Expert Repair Center, 302 Court Street Brooklyn, NY. Boy!, I wish I had read the first review on this bussiness. I took a CD player to have the CD chasis fixed. Mind you prior to the repair, the laser worked fine. After I took the CD player home and ran it for a lenthy time the laser started to skip all over the place. I called Alex, and he said bring it in and we'll give you an estimate. I replied an estimate on what? You guys altered the laser when fixing the CD drawer. He drew the analogy that when you bring a car into the mechanic sometimes another problem later surfaces. Immediately, I smelled a r-t. All experienced Americans with auto mechanics know what crooks they can be. I told him use your anology on someone else. He would not make good on the situation, and ruined a perfectly good CD player....a waste of $100.00. Forwarned is forarmed!

They are giving us the run around and have yet to refund our money. They came quickly to take a look at our broken washing machine....for $98. They weren't quite sure what was wrong, but requested money upfront for parts. When we realized afterwards that they majorly upcharged for inexpensive parts we began to smell a fish...We called the next day to cancel, but they said it was too late - the parts had been ordered and they couldn't cancel....blah blah blah. Anyway they are giving us the run around and we haven't been refunded all of our money yet...grrr. My husband tinkered with the machine himself this weekend and got it working - for $0!!!
