The Story
Husband-and-wife Pratt grads Andrew Rable and Suzanne Bagdade run this clever, multipurpose shop, one of the earlier outposts in the Smith Street boutique wave. Rable builds custom furniture; Bagdade concocts eye-catching handbags. The display tempts accessory mavens and idle browsers alike with colorful, handsewn totes set against streamlined desks and credenzas.
The Merch
Across the board, the goods merge a contemporary aesthetic with solid, timeless construction. The `70s-inspired oval-motif bag is a favorite with hipster gals from the neigborhood, but Bagdade's simple, sturdy designs are available in a host of other fabrics from florals to camouflage. If you're not in the market for a handbag or a piece of furniture, show some (tasteful) outer-borough pride with an understated "718" t-shirt, or covet gift items like accent pillows and lavender sachets covered in stripes of raw silk.

What purses!.
Great purses - unique and different. Ask if they have a shape you don't see in front - they have a storage room where they have extra stock.
