Such a beautilful place sit and eat.. Love to come here and have hot chocolate. Sounds silly, but they make a mean Hot Chocolate. The food is consistent. The service is consistently bad - but I'm over that for the food and the great atmosphere.

Great Brunch!. You would never know you are in Brooklyn. The ambiance is amazing, and the food is good. Food gets mixed reviews, but i went their for Valentines Day dinner, and the food was great!

Very pretty place.....bad service.. I have been going there out of convenience approx. 4 years. Dining in is ok but carry out or delivery is awful. I have been overcharged 4 times (overcharged as in DOUBLE the listed prices which manager claims doesn't have time to update). The employees are clueless and slow. Once after inviting 6 people to brunch, the waiter asked us to leave so they could seat more people. We were still having tea and coffee and talking. They once charged me $9 for an oatmeal and when I argued there must be a mistake, the girl behind the counter just shrugged. Today was my last day ever going there. I was charged $17 for a salad listed $8.95 and it took 1 hr to deliver as the delivery guy couldn't figure out the buzzer.

Brunch is fantastic....DINNER IS A NO GO..... On a recent family and friends gathering wth a party of eight, I was so terribly disappointed. We were all excited to go there because we heard how delicious brunch was and how intoxicating the atmosphere was....well that being said, it was true about the beauty, however, brunch may be wonderful as people often tell me....DINNER really sucked....If you are putting tuna on your menu, you really need to know how to prepare and cook it. I felt like I was in a salt mine and I love salt...all eight meals were served with various temperatures. Out of 8 6 of us ordered the tuna, and we ordered it RARE...some were rare, some were totally well done, some were ICE COLD, some were room temperature. When I get a meal I want it HOT and the way I ordered it. This is what we got after waiting an hour to be served and the restaurant was EMPTY. I shudder to think what happens when you have it full. Now to the good stuff....the waiters are lacking in personality and perhaps the english language. I was telling him that the tuna was awful and he kept smiling at me and said and did nothing about it and walked away. YOU NEED TO REEVALUATE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE........

Cool place to eat. The food here is really good, especially the miso steak, when it's available. The restaurant itself is such an interesting place to sit and hang out in, especially the back garden. Great place for a date in the evening or Mother's Day brunch. The waitstaff is generally pretty bad and if you want dessert you're wasting your time to ask them...go up front to the pastry case and pick something yourself. Overall I definitely recommend you see this place for yourself, it is pretty damn cool inside.

Great Food, Crappy Service. Well, I usually only eat breakfast type food at this place, so my girlfriend and I usually end up with a bill of only 10 bucks or so...Still, we make sure to tip at least 4 clams every time.(We tip at least 2 bones per person until the 20% portion of the bill gets higher.) Yet, every time we come back, the wait staff treats us like we stiffed them. They not personable at all and it took them 15-20 mins just to get water out to us.(And it was a hot day) The servers treat you like they'd rather you not be there. They are complete amatures. During my meal, they never came to check up on us and I went without water the whole time. Sh*tty service and they don't know what they're doing. Food on the other hand is excellent. Very creative and tasty. That's that. This place would be my favorite restaurant in Carroll Gardens if it wasn't for the service....

Le Petit is a Le TREAT!. The food at Le Petit is excellent. I couldn't think of a better brunch spot in the neighborhood and the ambience and design of the space is very original and unique.

Relaxing spot to while away a Sunday. I've stopped by Le Petit Cafe a few times to grab a quick coffee to go and kept catching glimpses of their glass roofed garden in the back. I finally had dinner there last week and got to soak up the atmosphere. Le Petit Cafe is all about the cheerful, relaxing atmosphere. The colors are warm and golden so it evokes a sunny day even if it's dreary outside. The music is casual and mixes in with the sounds of the cascading water in the back. Dinner was good and fresh- I had the red snapper which came with a mango salad which was tasty and light. Having stopped by quickly in the daytime, it was nice to have dinner and get a better feel for the surroundings. I'd like to come back on a lazy Sunday to sip coffee underneath the atrium in the garden.

The most beautiful & romantic restaurant in Brooklyn. I've been to Le Petit Cafe a few times and I have to say that I'm absolutely in love with this place. From the outside, it looks like a small coffee shop, but once you go inside and out to the garden area there's much more room and it's so beautiful! I'm amazed every single time. The food is very good too and inexpensive although it does take a while before it gets served. Friendly and pleasant staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone-- from those looking for a date spot all the way to those looking for just a place to grab a cup of coffee and pastry.
