Ethically Distasteful. So long as bluefin tuna is on the menu, I won't be going here, and I urge you not to go, either. The bluefin is a marvelous creature, and on the verge of extinction. It's immoral to serve it.
best sushi in bklyn. i love osaka evrything is good, prompt, and high quality. my favorite place to get sushi. i just wish theyd open before 5pm,
bargain basement pricing!. Small busy place with fantastic value sushi. Biggest pieces in the city. There may be places with more creative dishes but if you are looking for quantity you can't beat Osaka. One piece of sushi easily would easily make 2 pieces at most other restaurants. On top of it the fish is always fresh and the service friendly. The small restaurant probably tried to decorate in a hip modern way when they first opened but it could probably use a little update at this time. Still the service is great and the food excellent. We do takeout a lot.…
Best sushi in Brooklyn. This is my favorite place to get sushi in Brooklyn. I think it's better than Blue ribbon sushi in terms of quality of fish for the price. The decor is not much to speak of and it's too bright, but the rolls are fantastic and the raw fish is beautiful You get big gorgeous slices for what you would pay at any sushi restaurant and it is always top quality. I don't recommend the cooked food. I think it's mediocre, but when I want sushi, which is quite often I will go to Osaka every time!…
Reliable, inventive sushi.
I'm not usually a fan of novelty monster rolls, but Osaka does them well. The sushi is reliably good (if rarely mind-blowing), and the restaurant is comfortable (especially if it's warm enough to
sit on the deck). Service is usually friendly, though often on the slow side, though not excessively so.
