“Horrible service and food”
Delivery is poorly run and food is awful!. I called to order three hard tacos but they were out of hard taco shells so I ordered 3 soft tacos. When they came the soft shells were a sopping wet mess and completely inedible. I understand that tacos don't always travel well, especially soft tacos, but when I called them back to fix the situation, there wasn't a manager working and the staff couldn't do anything to resolve the problem. They told me to talk to the manager the following day and they gave me his name. When I called him he said he wasn't the manager and there were no managers. All I could do was call the owner the following day. I spent $9 (plus tax and delivery tip) on 3 tacos that I couldn't eat and have no recourse except to try to track down the owner. That is ridiculous. The tacos may be good at the restaurant but not delivered. I will never ever order from there again. It just seems like a poorly run place.
Horrible service and food. The guy taking my order was not friendly but I don't demand that at a casual place. It took 15 minutes to get the food which is long for a taqueria but granted they do cook the meat fresh to order so that is a trade off. When I got my order though it was wrong. Having ordered a steak burrito and not a chicken burrito I told them and was told I had in fact ordered a chicken burrito. Having never ordered a chicken burrito in my life I found this doubtful and told them so but I was told that I was wrong. After getting nowhere I decided to eat the burrito which was bland and falling apart. I am originally from California so I have had many burritos in my life. This was by far the worst and the guy behind the counter made the experience a total disaster. I took two bites and left.
Editorial Review. Basic fare at this mostly take-out joint includes burritos, tacos, and Latin-inspired entrees of chicken, steak and pork.
The Best Burritos. You will not find a burrito bigger or more tasty than Buddy's. A plus - they are fast! When I have them deliver, my food comes in less than 15 minutes. Always.
Cheap and Tasty. They have everything from burgers to burritos and offer lots of salsa toppings for free. It's right across the street from a movie theater so it's a great pitstop before or after going to a movie.
forget the burritos. The yummy fried fish tacos provide enough of a reason to come back. I wouldn't bother with the burritos though.
The magical quesadilla. It's not fancy, but just try a fresh quesadilla with tender, smoky carne asada, hot off the grill and scattered atop the melted cheese and homemade guacamole. Perfect, perfect food. A complete meal, and only $6.95! Soooooo gooooood. I hope Buddy's is open forever.
