My fav Brooklyn coffee/sandwich shop. Fresh bread and homemade coffee. Also the culture is a crossbreed of The Sopranos & The Coatanzas.

In Short
Beyond the familiar red awning lies the intoxicating aroma of an authentic Italian specialty shop that has been family-owned for three generations. Open burlap-lined barrels filled with coffee beans line the right wall, while glass cases of sausages and cheeses comprise the left. In the rear, shelves brimming with spices, olive oils, and teas--loose and pre-packaged--adjoin a small seating area. The big roaster up front accounts for the java-infused smell hovering throughout.
