Incredible Midwife Group!

We used Nurse Midwifery Associates of Brooklyn for our first baby, born in October 2008. The practice is headed by two exceptional nurse midwives - Joanne Middleton and Janette O'Sullivan - with the help of Sylvia and Rebekah who work in the office. To say we were satisfied with our experience is an understatement. With every visit my husband and I were encouraged, as a team, to ask as many questions as possible. We never felt rushed and were always provided with amazing care and helpful information.

Janette delivered the baby after 36 hours of labor. Her patience was incredible and the experience was intimate...we had the baby in the hospital but it almost felt like a home birth. Janette was relaxed and was smiling most of the time...she must have been exhausted but never showed it. She really respected our choices and was present and encouraging, every step of the way. We are still in contact with her and she treats us as if we are family. I highly recommend this group. Both Joanne and Janet are highly respected professionals with terrific personalities and a great sense of humor!
