rumor has it, they are going to close. It's one of those places you go to to save a couple of bucks. I went to this place because I was told that you can bring your own bottles, and although this is true with almost every Russian restaurant, i chose this place expecting it to be less sleazy. But oh boy was i wrong! Bad food and even worse service. Stay clear and go somewhere classy instead. For a quick bite and some good Shishkabbab i recommend the place btwn P and Kings on east 16th. Their meat is legit.

I liked it as much as I like eating sand. Weeks later and I still can't get the awful taste out of my mouth. However, the bad food comes in second to the atrocious service. They are so lazy that it comes across as if they are doing you a favor by serving you. They have a mandatory service charge which is not part of a tip. I think they overcharged me. Friends of mine had the same exact experience.
