Good Food & Exceptional Service!. I recently tried Michael's again after several years, and I must say the food is still very good & the service excellant! The only gripe I had was that they made allowance for a 20% tip when they put the bill on my credit card as a "temporary transaction", so the "temporary transaction" total increased by over $20.00! I left a $25 CASH tip when I paid the tab of $110.00. This is the first time something like that has ever happened and I eat out at difference places at least 3 or 4 times a week! I believe the tip is up to the customer and why should a pre-figured 20% tip be included even if it is as a "temporary transaction" amount??? I am sorry to say it, but it looks like these people have gotten "stiffed" quite a bit in the past and don't trust their customers!! When I go back to Michael's I intend to pay with cash!

My Favorite Restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant by far. I am happily eating my leftovers from last night's dinner at Michael's and I have to say this place is not overpriced at all for the quality and quantity of food you get there. I highly recommend the duck ravioli in duck ragu but this is not something that they have all the time. They also have a great pastry shop across the street so the desserts in the restaurant are fantastic.

Great food at a price. First of all this structure is a conclave and throw back to when Brooklyn knew gents and ladies..,Kudos. Food is outrageously good and dessert (creme de brulee) ample as well as awesome! Very pricey however, quality is better than mediocrity. By the way you might get lucky and meet Ken from Breakfast with the Beatles. Quality people in a quality institution! Stay in Brooklyn (hell you own the whole block and a half)

simply amazing. been there many times for family functions and with my boyfriend the food is to die for..... baked clams, scungilli, shrimp, awesome...extremely accomidating, especially for parties and whatever you request....

not the typical italian/american dinner. my extended family and I have been loyal patrons of micheal's for over 20 years. Michae's is simply the essence of Italian food and truly embodies the elegance of all that is italian. The seafodd is amazing, the wine menu is up to par with many of the 5 star restaurants in the city and the overall quality of the food is amazing.

JMS. I started going to this family owned restaurant over a year ago and now they can't get rid of me. I have never met nicer restaurant owners as well as staff which is complemented by great food.
