A rare & wonderful experience for Brkln

The six of us wet there for our 25th HS reunion. We had a wonderful time. I'll start about the ice-cream, althoug we had it at the end. Smooth & creamy with what seemed like a natural flavor. It's heaven...and the selection is overwelming. Hot sandwiches were tasty, gourmet, modest on meat, thoug. You can taste that the pizza crust is something else with that brick-oven-baked flavor. Deserts are a heaven for your eyes with all different colors from fruit topped to chocolate, tiramisu, cheese cake...and then some... for your taste buds. They (surprisingly) have a full bar so we each tried a different drink. The live music provided by a well-seasoned singer was the reason we stayed there for so long. He sung such variety to touch almost everyone, while backing himself up by playing a keyboard that produces so many rich sounds. The guy did Sinatra, Elvis, Tom Jones, Engelbert etc, while also singing in Italian (Italian favorites), in Spanish and playing a few Russian tunes. His smooth entertaining did not overpower our chatting & laughing but made us feel very cozy. He occasionaly made friendly comments, introducing songs which made us feel that we were a part of a live performance and not just listening to some boring, background music from a house CD player. The youthful staff seem to really try to please us. Their smiles were friendly while running to cater to everyone. All in all, we highly recomend it. It's a rare, beautiful experience for Brooklyn and the rest...

I LOOOVE this place!

My girlfriend and I literally eat at this restaurant at least twice a week. The food is excellent! The servers are always pritty nice The varity of food options makes me want to go there every time I want to eat out, from pizza to veal and chicken dishes not to mention the gelato and deserts it is the best in brooklyn, I always make sure to go there at least one of the nights that they have the live music, it is normally every Friday, Sat, and Sun. The outside cafe is amazing when you set there you see all the people driving by slow down to look at this place, I always recommend this place to ALL my friends they all thank me when they go there. This is my favorite restaurant!

A taste of New York while living down south

Living in Charlotte, NC makes me long for the cakes and cookies from Mona Lisa. I ordered cakes and cookies for Easter from Mona Lisa and was amazed at the packing and how every thing arrived in one piece. Every thing tasted like I was at the cafe in Brooklyn. It was so good I ordered another cake 2 days after easter.

If your in Brooklyn you must stop by. If you live any where in the USA, order on line. You will be happy with what ever you order.
