“This location has terrible customer service.”
“got great service”
“approached the store with trepidation because of the review I saw when I was looking up stores online, and only went there because it was the nearest and I had a slow leak in my tire and didn't want to drive to another store.”
Sears Auto Department is always Exceptional. I give them a great review because the staff is always trying. I was there on Saturday to get my car winterized. The winterization was not available at the price at had seen a few weeks ago so I simply had my oil changed. In the meantime Ivory was courteous and polite. He smiled through the whole transaction. This is so important because most people come into the store with a ready bad attitude. The clerks have alot to deal with so it is always good to see a smiling face amidst the bad attitude of customers.
what a fiasco. I purchased tires here. Signed the service order, went to get a bite to eat came back 45 min later to be told that they only had one of the tires in stock so I had to pick others. The customer service here is very poor and un organized. Workers to worried about their text messages. it took over 2 hours to get 2 tires. The guy that worked on my car is the only one that seemed to be on the ball
Excellent Customer Service Sears Auto Center. Ivory Taylor and Jabran Clemon are EXCELLENT customer Service Reps. Sears should commend them for their efforts.
I got great service. I don't understand the previous reviews because I found these guys to be really nice and sweet. I approached the store with trepidation because of the review I saw when I was looking up stores online, and only went there because it was the nearest and I had a slow leak in my tire and didn't want to drive to another store. All three counter reps were nice, fast and competent. And I am glad I purchased road insurance on my tires when I bought them so the replacement didn't cost me. It was really appreciated since I was planning on driving home for Christmas and AAA wouldn't come change my tire (it was on ice, big surprise um it was December). My roommate promised to fix it but bailed on me last minute. I ended up trudging through the snow to get fix a flat and hoping to make it to the store, and hoping it wouldn't cost too much or that I wouldn't ruin the rim. A newcomer to Brooklyn (I moved here a year ago), I experienced the worst of attitudes that day and expected all sorts of drama when I went into the store but like I said they ended up being really nice.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Value-minded company offers tires, DieHard batteries and auto accessories. Services include oil change, belt replacement, brake repair and more.
INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The ppl there are unprofessional and unhelpful. I needed them to fax a copy of my receipt to an insurance company and it took 2 DAYS. I was left on hold for over 10 MINUTES and received the runaround the 1st day. It was ridiculous, all for a task that takes 5-7minutes to complete.
Poor Customer Service. This location has terrible customer service. It takes forever to reach a cust svc rep, and the front end has no idea what is happening in the garage which leads to poor cust svcs. When I was there I saw a number of people getting frustrated and leaving out of frustration. With all the mechanics in Brooklyn, try to find a local mechanic that you trust, don't let yourself get suckered into going there just because of the name.
