Re-established in 1985, Coney Island's carnival harkens back to even older days with timeless appeal..
In Short
A charmingly ragtag band of pierced and tattooed Gen-Xers keep the spirit of vaudeville's seedy heyday alive with this self-described Freak Show. The small bar (with a 99-seat theater) is one of the few places around where customers can grab a beer then watch a sword swallower or a fire eater. Children can attend the sideshow during the day; acts like KoKo the Killer Klown, who makes raunchy balloon animals, entertain adults at night.
