My mother has been receiving home health aide services from Special Touch Home Care for around 3 years. Her regular aide (Janet) has become a part of our family. Janet's knowledgeable about my mother's condition (dementia) and extremely compassionate. When she's unable to make her shift there's always a competent replacement at my mom's home on time and ready to help. It's not easy seeing her in the condition she's in, however the extra help that Special Touch has provided us with has really been priceless.

i wouldn't suggest anyone use this company because they steal!! My first day training for home health aide someone stole my phone as it was charging. I'm sure if they are going to steal something as simple as a phone from me then they will steal from their clients who are elderly people. i even spoke with a man by the name of Evan who is charge of the facility and he told me people in the office steal as well. they make a big deal about people being absent, late and having a bad attitude yet they do nothing about students/ staff stealing others property.

Couldnt be more satisfied. When my mother got older and she needed help I was always able to help her out. Unfortunately her condition worsened about 6 months a go and I needed an alternate source of help for her, and ended up choosing Special Touch. My mother is very pleased with the service they provide and so am I.

I am not exactly sure how far the Aides will travel to help someone, but my mother lives in the Bronx and there was an Aide there the following day after our initial consultation. Hopefully this helps. Oh and this is my first post so I hope I did this correctly.
