Once ok Now stay away.
Yeah so this was cool when we first moved to Greenpoint. But the quality has gone steadily down hill. Ordered some stuff to be delivered and wound up with bland grey looking food. Absolutely inedible. The Spicy Shrimp Noodles, had about 4 shrimp and no spice whatsoever. Hard to tell it from the grey mass that was supposed to be Pad Thai.
It's been three years since anyone has written a review on Amarin and thats about how old our food looked. I could not eat it, and I am hungry tonight. With the amount of restaurants in the Williamsburg Greenpoint neighborhood why bother with this one, I know I will never spend another dollar there.

Editorial Review.
Inexpensive Greenpoint Thai restaurant that serves a basic Thai menu; only one menu item more than $7.95.

Great for takeout!.
This place was a nice surprise when I moved to Williamsburg. I ordered the first time with my sister - I had the garlic and pepper chicken and she had the spicy broad noodles with shrimp. It's very reasonably priced, and I've yet to have an overly greasy meal there, which is sometimes a problem with Thai food. Great flavors, fresh ingredients and quick delivery keep me addicted.

spicy!.
This is the only Thai food place I know of that knows what spicy means. The noodle dishes are the best, but I've also enjoyed the rice dishes as well.

when they say spicy, they mean it.
Amarin's food is always fresh, although the quality does vary--avoid ordering on Friday & Saturday nights, prime dining hours, when they seem to throw things togehter a little too haphazardly. Too much of one ingrediant and not enough on another. Still better than PlanEat Thai if you're after a good thai dish, such as spicy noodle. Bonus: Brown rice if you request it. Beware: if you ask for something made "spicy" they will defintiely comply (look out!).
